polluted areas, advise policymakers, or work with industry to
reduce waste.
Qualifications :
Environmental scientists need a bachelor's degree in
environmental science, geography and regional planning,
zoology, ecology, or related fields.
Salary :
A mid-career Environmental Scientist with 4-9 years of
experience earns an average salary of ₹4.0 Lakhs per year, while
an experienced Environmental Scientist with 10-20 years of
experience earns an average salary of ₹9.2 Lakhs per year.
Work Time :
A Environmental Scientists works 8 - 10 hours a day
