Graduate Development Engineer / Techno Banker

About the programme

You will be supported and launched into your career through our hands-on graduate programme. During
this time, you’ll meet peers and senior executives from across the Group, creating networks that will
accelerate your career growth. Our training programme will enable you to develop your technical, business,
and interpersonal skills through real-world experience and in depth training. Future skill development is a
key priority for the Bank, and by investing in our Early Careers programmes, we're committed to changing
the way banking works for the better.

Your programme starts with a 8 week Technical Bootcamp that will equip you with the necessary skills and
understanding of technology architecture, programming languages, and how banking solutions can be
rapidly designed and delivered.

Responsibilities

• Product development: design & development of robust banking software


• Delivery of quality software which meets business requirements.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle – requirements, design, implementation to
deployment.
• Take full ownership and responsibility for product development and delivery.
• Handling problems reported from the field and coming up with quick resolutions, workarounds,
recovery, and fixes.
• Work in a truly agile environment, as part of scrum teams that are striving to solve customer
challenges.
Preferred Skills

 Programming algorithms, data structures, OOP concepts and frameworks, DB fundamentals


(intermediate)
 Hands on experience in programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, C#, Dot Net etc.
(foundation)
 Design patterns, Microservices, UI frameworks – Angular, React, AI MS Office, MI & visualisation
tools like Canva (foundation)
 Testing tools & frameworks like Selenium, JMETER, LoadRunner (foundation)
 Analytical, critical thinking & problem-solving ability
 Interpersonal and consultative skills

Eligibility

We welcome students from Engineering degrees with excellent academic records and encourage
applicants from diverse backgrounds.

You’ll be a final year student, able to start July 2025, with the permanent legal right to work in the
country you’re applying to.

We’re looking for team players who are agile, flexible, adept at multi-tasking, customer focussed and open
to learning the latest tech stack.
