@tina : Friend, I have seen many rivers in our town with a lot of garbage
in them. I have talked with Dea and Andar, and we agreed to make a group to clean
dirty rivers. What do you think, guys? Will you join?
@verba : Great idea. I would be willing to join the group. The dirty rivers
are not nice to see.
@rockwell : Wow! It means we can have trips to rivers! I agree with the idea!
The use of chemical pesticides might not be good for plants. Let’s us make a natural
one. To make it, you need one head of garlic, one tablespoon dish soap (note: do not use a
dish soap that contains bleach), two cups water, and two tablespoon vegetable oil.
Here is how to make it. First, peel the garlic cloves and grind them. Mix them with
the oil and water. Allow to sit over night and then strain the mixture. Add the soap and
mix them. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and use on plants infected with pest.
Please note that anytime you use a home mix, you should always test it out on a small
portion of the plant first to make sure that it will not harm the plant, OK?
Ecobricks, are bricks created from used plastic bottles. The plastic bottle contains
plastic or non-biodegradable waste. To make an ecobrick is a way to save the
environment. Using ecobrick can trap and secure plastic from entering the
environment, so it is good for the environment. Besides, they can also create
furniture, such as stools, benches and tables. How to make an ecobrick.:
1. Clean or wash the bottle and the plastic waste you are going to use to make an
ecobrick. Make sure they are dry enough so that there are no bacteria.
2. Cut or rip the plastic into small pieces.
3. Fill a bottle with your plastic waste.
4. Add the plastic and compact it alternately.
5. Squeeze the plastic waste into the bottle area with a stick or spoon.
6. Make sure the bottle is totally solid. You can do this by pressing on it from the
outside. When pressed, good, solid ecobrick will not deflate or produce sound.
7. Close the bottle and you’ve made one ecobrick!
28. What should we do with the plastic waste before putting them in the bottle?
a. Ironing them first.
b. Washing and dry them.
c. Sorting them according to their colors.
d. Sorting them according to their thickness.
Answer B
@verywell24 : Actually to save our planet is not difficult, even we can do it from
our home, at any time. One small thing I have done is making ecobrick, that is,
collecting dry and plastic wrappers from snacks, coffee sachets etc.
Comments
@nicewonder commented : great! I would like to know more about ecobrick.
Would you send me a message about it?
@fahira215 commented : such a lovely idea. We drink coffee and eat snacks
every day. It will be easy for us to do it.

One day, in the forest a rabbit was boasting about how fast he could run. He was laughing at the
turtle for being so slow. Much to the rabbit’s surprise, the turtle challenged him to a race. The
rabbit thought this was a good joke and accepted the challenge. The fox was to be the umpire of
the race.
As the race began, the rabbit raced way ahead of the turtle, just like everyone thought. The rabbit
got to the halfway point and could not see the turtle anywhere. He was hot and tired and decided
to stop and take a short nap. All this time the turtle kept walking step by step by step. He never
quit no matter how hot or tired he got. He just kept going.
However, the rabbit slept longer than he had thought and woke up. He could not see the turtle
anywhere! He went at full-speed to the finish line but found the turtle there waiting for him.
