I. RATIONALE:
Youth for Christ (YFC) is a worldwide Christian movement working with young
people, whose main purpose is evangelism among teenagers. Youth for Christ aims to make
the message of Christ known to the youth, ranging from 13 years to 21 years old, by providing
pastoral formations and trainings. This in turn forms the youth to have a personal relationship
with Christ and to say yes to the mission of evangelization. YFC exists to HONOR God,
EMPOWER them to ACT in service to the Church as they RELATE to their friends and the

community, and to TESTIFY God’s love. With a vision of being and bringing Christ wherever
they are.

Moreover, Youth for Christ-Camarines Norte is our local catholic community. It aims
to provide a healthy and Catholic Christian support environment for its members to help
establish a foundation based on Christian values and principles among youths, to prepare
them for the challenges they will be facing in their life to evangelize and re - evangelize
youths by providing avenues where Christ and His gospel can be proclaimed, and to be of
service to the Church and to enhances our ability to deal with life’s ups and downs and
bounce back from those difficult experiences.

In recognition and in exercise of the rights to organize and govern ourselves, we are
proposing the conduct of “A Love Like This 2022: Agape” scheduled in August 2022 at
Bulwagang Eming Panotes, Municipal Hall of daet, Daet, Camarines Norte with the anchor
verse: There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with
punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. – 1 John 4:18. The activity is
composed of Four Station Team Building Workshop (morning) and A Love Like This
(afternoon) with the topics, “FUN, FAITH, FREEDOM & FRIENDSHIP.” and ““Overview of
Love and the Anchor Verse 1 John 4:18”, respectively. This activity will help us to assist us in
creating spiritual growth among youths. We can learn to see the beauty and wonder in our
day-to-day life. The things we often take from granted can start to offer us greater inspiration
and joy.
II. OBJECTIVES:
1. To nourish their spiritual growth.
2. To promote the fun, faith, freedom, and friendship of YFC.
3. To tap into existing opportunities to teach and listen, helping youths to have spiritual
experiences.
4. To help them to determine their true sense of purpose and meaning.

III. PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION AND MANAGEMENT

A. Beneficiaries
The beneficiaries of the event are the out of school youth of Municipality of Daet.
Moreover, it will serve as an instrument for gradual exposure of youths in pastoral community,
to promote fellowship, brotherhood and sisterhood and to develop a sense of service,
responsibility, and spiritual nourishment for the welfare of the society.

IV. EXPECTED OUTCOME

 Spiritual wellness includes having compassion, the capacity for love and forgiveness,
altruism, joy, and fulfillment.
 Sense of hope and optimism, spiritually strengthens our outlook for a better future.
 Enable young people to discover their original design and purpose – an identity anchored on
human dignity, love, and truth.
 Re-introduce fun, faith, freedom, and friendship as an instrument to manifest love, joy, human
dignity, and all good things –
sticking to our purpose and design of being true, good, and beautiful.

Christ’s peace be upon you!

We, of the CFC Youth for Christ (YFC), would like to request permission to Family Ministry to
conduct a Spiritual Calibration in partnership with the MSWDO of Daet for selected Out of School
Youth within the municipality.

The Spiritual Calibration is a one-day activity is composed of Four Station Team Building
Workshop (morning) and A Love Like This (afternoon) with the topics, “Fun, Faith, Freedom and
Friendship” and “Overview of Love and the Anchor Verse 1 John 4:18. This activity will help us to
assist us in creating spiritual growth among youths. This will be achieved through a program
consisting of peptalks and sharings by other youths as well as fun-filled activities utilizing the talents
and skills of the participants.

We wish to conduct the said activity on August 13, 2022. We would also like to ask any
assistance from CFC Camarines Norte in conducting this activity. We are hoping for your favorable
response in this matter.
