Assessment 4: Multiple Teaching and Learning Strategies to Mediate Learning.

Mrs. Radebe, an experienced and passionate primary school teacher, has been
assigned a diverse group of students in her Grade 3 class. The class includes
children with various abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles. To ensure that
all learners do their best and pass the grade, Mrs Radebe needs to implement
teaching strategies that will accommodate all learners.

QUESTION 1
State and explain FIVE (5) key strategies or practices that Mr Radebe can employ to create
an inclusive learning environment. 10 marks.

Think of a lesson you would want to teach. In your lesson consider the principle of creating

diversity in the classroom. Plan your lesson which should include elements such as the
Subject, the Grade, topic, the subject content, time. You are required to use

Learning as a teaching strategy. Now answer the following questions:

1.1 How will learners benefit from the use of Cooperative Learning strategy and what could
be challenges associated with the use of Cooperative Learning as a teaching strategy.?

Elaborate on five (5) benefits and five (5) challenges. = (20marks)
