Software Obtaining

Huawei technical support website:


Log in to the Carrier for carrier users. Enter eNSP Pro in the search box and select the option
under the search boxs.
Log in to the Enterprise for enterprise users. Enter eNSP Pro in the search box and select the
option under the search boxs.
Depoying eNSP in Windows system,please download eNSP**_Software_X8664_release.tar.gz.
On Windows, download eNSP**_Software_X8664_release.tar.gz for eNSP deployment.
On Linux, download eNSP**_Software_X8664_release.qcow2 for eNSP deployment.

Deploying eNSP (Windows)
1. Decompress the downloaded eNSP**_Software_X8664_release.tar.gz package to obtain
eNSP**_Software_X8664_release.vdi.
2. Register a virtual hard disk. Start virtual machine, choose File > Tools > Virtual Media Manager

Specifies a VM name and deployment path,
set an ISO image to <not selected>;
set an operating system type to Linux;
set a version to Other Linux (64-bit).

16384 MB and Processors to 8.

Deploying eNSP (Linux)
1. Log in to the physical server and install the QEMU software.
root@ensp06:~# apt-get install qemu-system-x86

2. Create a directory and upload the eNSP**_Software_X8664_release.qcow2 software


package downloaded.
3. (Optional) Run the ifconfig command to query the IP address of the network adapter.
4. Run the qemu-system-x86_64 -smp <n> -m <size> -cpu host -accel kvm -hda
/disk1/ensp/eNSP**_Software_X8664_release.qcow2 -device e1000,netdev=net0 -
netdev user,id=net0,hostfwd=tcp:<ip-address>:<physical-port>-:8443 command to
run the VM.
root@ensp06:/disk1/ensp# qemu-system-x86_64 -smp 8 -m 16384 -cpu host -
accel kvm -hda /disk1/ensp/eNSP-
Pro_V100R001C00_Software_X8664_release.qcow2 -device e1000,netdev=net0
-netdev user,id=net0,hostfwd=tcp:127.0.0.1:8443-:8443

5. Wait for 90s until the VM is started. Open the browser (Google Chrome is
recommended) and enter https://<ip-address>:<physical-port> in the address box to
access eNSP.
