I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards At the end of the lesson, 85% of the learners should be able to
demonstrates various ways of doing philosophy
B. Performance Standards The learner evaluates opinions
C. Learning Competencies /  Distinguish opinion from truth PPT11/12-Ic-2.1
Objectives.  Realize that the methods of philosophy lead to wisdom and truth
Write the LC code for each PPT11/12-Id-2.2
 Evaluate truth from opinions in different situations using the
methods of philosophizing PPT11/12-Id-2.3

(10 minutes) *Announcement

*Classroom Management (arrange chairs, no unnecessary things in the
armed chair, clean classroom)
* The teacher will review the previous lesson and connect the new topic
by presenting the objective of the new lesson.
Activity/Strategy The learners will choose five words you found inside the box. They will
( 10 minutes) write down other related words or ideas that they think it is in relation to
the words they choose. They will write their answer on the space board.
Analysis (15 minutes) The teacher will ask the learners:
1. What is the common theme of the words you choose?
2. How are they interrelated to each other?
Abstraction (30 minutes) The teacher will discuss the topic using the following guide questions
1. How can you distinguish opinion from truth?’
2. What are the methods of Philosophy that leads to Wisdom and Truth?
3. How to evaluate truth from opinions in different situations using the
methods of philosophizing?
Application (30 minutes). After the discussion, the teacher will give the learners an
activity called “Analyze me”. They will be given a table to
complete and apply systematic doubt in analyzing the
statement.
Assessment (25 minutes). Short Quiz
