CHEM 30 APPARATUSES

Test tube:
-used for holding small amounts Of liquid or solid substances for qualitative sources analysis or
reaction observation.

Test tube Rack:-Holds multiple test tubes upright for organization and safe storage of test tubes,
and to ease transport of multiple tubes.

Graduated Cylinder-measures the volume of liquids with high accuracy.

Volumetric Flask:-used for precise measurement and dilution of liquid solutions to a specific
volume.

Crucible and Cover:-heat resistant container used for heating substances to high tempera-
tures, often for chemical reactionς.

Evaporating Dish:-used to evaporate liquids From a solution, leaving behind solids.

Watch glass:-Covers beakers or evaporating dirnes to prevent contamination or loss Of material

during evaporation.

Test tube brush:-Cleans test tuber and other Narrow laboratory glassware.

Florence Flask:-used for heating and boiling liquids, with a round bottom and long neck to
minimize Uplasting.

Bunsen Burner:-provides a frame for heating, Sterilizing, or performing chemical reactions.

Dropper:-used for transferring small amounts of liquid with precision.

Thermometer:- measures temperature, crucial for Controlling reaction conditions or determining

physical properties.

Tongs:-used to grip and lift objects instead of holding them directly with hands.

Triple Beam Balance:-used to measure the mass of the small object, not exceeding 610 grams.

Condenser:-used to condense vapors - that turn them into liquids - by cooling them down.

Spatula:-used for transferring solid Chemicals or Powders.

Acid Burette:-dispenses acidic solutions with precision during titration experiments.

Base Burette:- dispenses basic solutions with precision during titration experiments

Funnel:- Facilitates the transfer of liquids or fine-grained substances into Containers with narrow
openings.

Magnifying glass:-magnifies small objects or details For closer examination.

Iron Stand:- provides support for Laboratory apparatus during experiments.

Iron clamp:- Attaches Laboratory glassware securely to an iron stand.

Test tube Holder:- grasps hot test tubes safely for manipulation.

Reagent Bottle:-stores chemicals or rohketions for laboratory use.

Glass Rod:-used for stirring or mixing substances in laboratory experiments.

Pipette:-transfers precise volumes of liquid from one container to another.

Microscope:- magnifies small objects or organisms for detailed observation.

Mortar and pestle:-crushes and grinds solid Substances into finer particles or powders.

Beaker:- holds and measures liquid volumes, commonly used for mixing and heating
substances.

Petri dish:-Cultivates micro organisms or grows cells for experimental purposes.
