PROJECT DESCRIPTION : Produce 2 days 1 night holiday plan including choosing
the place and provide an itinerary for the holiday plan.

REAL WORLD PROBLEM :


Having a holiday is an exciting experience for most of us. Experiencing other people culture, norms and
lifestyle through holiday is the best learning method. However, planning a holiday is not that simple
since it is requiring lots of decision making and reasoning.

PROJECT BASED LEARNING REPORT

Teacher’s reflection.
Due to the period of giving this project is during the final week of sem 1, it did not get full cooperation
from students whereby only 5 students submit the project.
However, most students who submitted the work did not achieve the standard as they only copy the
sample given by the teacher. Yet, only one student met the standard given and as the result, she gets TP
6.
This result given because she able to do the itinerary completely using her own words and the write up
she submitted answered most the questions given in reflection writing. Besides, her preparation of power
point slides also covered all criteria needed. Her oral presentation is scheduled once the school reopen.

ITINERARY FOR KUNDASANG HOLIDAY TRIP (2 DAYS AND 1 NIGHT)

Date : 25th December 2020 – 26th December 2020

Location : Kundasang, Sabah

DAY 1

TIME ACTIVITY

7.00 AM We will take our breakfast at Papar District

8.00 AM We will continue our trip to Kundasang

11.30 AM We will arrive at Kundasang

Destination 1: Desa Dairy Farm

➢ We can take photos and videos, feed the calf and eat
delicious ice cream milk.
1.00 PM We will take a break and have our lunch

2.00 PM We can check in at our homestay, pray and rest

3.00 PM Destination 2: BE Wonderland

➢ We can take photos in each section which have 13 sections,


learn and have fun to explore the Science & Technology
Design from recycle materials (3R concept)
5.00 PM We can stop by at Kundasang Fresh Market and Mini Market to buy

some fruits, mineral water and other things

5.30 PM We will going back to homestay and have our dinner. After that, we

can get some rest while waiting for tomorrow’s activities

DAY 2

TIME ACTIVITY

6.30 AM We have our breakfast .

7.00 AM Destination 3: Sosodikon Hill (1465m)

➢ We will go for short easy hike hill with the 1465m height.
We can take photos and videos. By hiking, its can improve
our mood for mental and body health.

8.30 AM After hiking, we will go back to homestay and have bath. Then, we

will pack and tidy our things before check out


9.30 AM Destination 4: Kundasang War Memorial

➢ This place will remind us to remember the fallen heroes


during war long time ago. We can learn a history of our
heroes and have fun at the same time too. We can take
photos as our memories.

11.00 AM Destination 5: Sabah Tea Garden

➢ We can learn the process of making Sabah tea. We can taste


the organic and natural pure Sabah tea and take some
photos.
1.00 PM Next, we will go for lunch and pray.

2.30 PM We will going back to our hometown.

Holiday Trip to Kundasang, Sabah

Sabah is an impressive natural attractions in the world. The land below the wind is home to
unique of flora and fauna as Sabah is one of the Tropical Rainforest which is also known with high levels
of biodiversity.
I am really thankful because I”ve given an oppurnity to plan our class holiday in this school
break.I have found an interesting place that I think suitable for all of you and me for 2 days and 1 night
trip.
In this trip, I will choose to go to Kundasang as our main place to visit. I choose this place because
it has magnificent mountains views which is so amazing with the cold breeze air.
Kundasang is located around 57km and take around 2 hours to arrive from Kota Kinabalu. So,we
can go there by bus as we are almost 25 pax and it is more safety, comfortable and cheaper. Kundasang
has many interesting places to visit. However, I will choose only five places to visit for our holiday trip.
The top five interesting places I will choose for this trip are Desa Dairy Farm where we can get
the New Zealand feels, attractives places at the BE Wonderland, remember the fallen heroes at
Kundasang War Memorial , take a short easy hike at Sosodikon Hill to see a lovely and amazing view
with colourful flowers, and the last one is Sabah Tea Garden which is the only organic tea farm in
Borneo.
There will be so many activities we can do during the holiday trip. We will take many photos,
enjoy the views and feel the cold breeze air surroundings. Beside that, we can eat delicious ice cream
milk and feed the calf especially at the Desa Dairy Farm. In addition, we also can have fun learning at
Kundasang War Memorial, Sabah Tea Garden and BE Wonderland.
Last but not least, we can improve mood, mental and body health by take a short easy hike at
Sosodikon Hill. We can take many photos and videos together for our memories in this place .
In this holiday trip, we will pay for bus, homestay, food and beverages, and tickets. So, we need
to pay RM150 for this trip.
As a planner in this trip, I will explain to you by providing the itinerary, some pictures through
power point slides and the budget of expenses for this trip. I hope this trip will going smoothly as
planned. I will get back to all of you soon.
