INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

I. Internship Proposed: I am doing my internship at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.


Ltd., Hyderabad for a period of 2 months (5th June – 28th July 2023 ).

The topic for the internship is:


“Job description and job specialization for manager of all departments”

Area of Internship: Human Resources

II. Description of Internship in brief:

Bajaj Allianz Life is one of India's leading private life insurance companies. The
Company is a partnership between two powerful and successful entities in their own
right – Bajaj Finserv Limited, one of India’s most diversified non-banking financial
institutions and Allianz SE, one of the world’s leading asset managers and insurers.

Human resources (HR) is the division of a business that is charged with finding,
recruiting, screening, and training job applicants. It also administers employee benefit
programs At Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd employees value dedication and
diligence. They recruit and select the work force that are dedicated towards their job.
Human resource department recruit employees based on their Job description and
specialization.

My goal for this project is to understand job description and job specialization for
managers in detail. Job description or JD consists of all tasks and duties in different
departments like HR, Marketing, Sales, Operations etc. for a particular position. Job
specialization is a process where an employee gets knowledge, expertise and
education in specific area.
Analyzing clients current insurance policies and suggesting additions or changes,
Collecting KYC documents to complete their onboarding formalities, Promoting and
selling financial products to clients to meet given MBG targets, Conducting
telephonic interviews are some of the responsibilities of HR intern.

III. Objective of the Internship:

 To understand the Job description of managers in different departments .


 To understand the measures taken by the company to recruit the best
employees .
 To understand the Job specialization in selecting a candidate as a manager.
 To analyze the qualifications needed to get selected in the company.

IV. Action Plan:

In order to fulfil the objectives of my report I will contact managers of all


departments in the company to understand the criteria in becoming a manager in the
company .I will research via internet about job descriptions and qualifications
required to qualify as a manager in all domains. I will contact HR managers of the
company to gain knowledge about the matter. This will majorly help in getting
insights of company recruitment criteria, job description and specialization.

V. Schedule:

Internship duration is 2 months from 5th June to 28th July 2023.

25 - 31 May 2023 : Internship Registration


05 June 2023 – 28 July 2023 : Internship Period
14th June 2023 : Proposal Submission
5th July 2023 : Interim Report Submission
25th July 2023 : Final Report Submission
25-28 July 2023 : Final Evaluation & Presentation

VI. Limitations:

 As it is a work from home internship so we are limited to a very small area and
we can only communicate with a handful number of employees rather than all
the employees. As a result, the response collected is restricted and biased.

 It is difficult to communicate with the employees because they all have their
tight schedules and it wouldn’t possible for them to answer every question of
ours because of time constraints.
