User Manual for Recruitment
“BWDB Recruitment” is a web-based application. This web application is for those
applicants who are seeking job of BWDB. This is the user manual where all the functionalities
are described.
1 Job Portal:
The Job portal is visible to the user when they click on https://job.bwdb.gov.bd/.where all open
positions are listed. Users who do not register cannot login or apply for any jobs. They can only
view the Basic Information of Jobs, such as:
• Assistant Programmer.
• Assistant Engineer (Civil).
• Assistant Revenue Officer.
• SAE/SO(Mechanical/Electrical).
• Geologist.
• Research Officer, Economics.
• Assistant Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical).
• SAE/SO(Civil)/Estimator.
• Research Officer, E&F.
• Assistant Director (FA&A) etc.

These all are current open jobs. Open jobs can change anytime.
2.Open Jobs:
The user can view the job details by click on the specific job. In given below there is an example
of an open job details:
Apply for any job applicant must be fill-up the “Minimal Requirement” such as
➢ Age should be at least 18.
➢ Maximum age can be 30 and
➢ Qualification must be Graduation/Equivalent Level.
One more thing without login, user only can see the open job list can’t apply on it. So, applicant
must be login for apply and must know about the last date submission and application fee.
3 Register:
For access to every feature of the “BWDB Recruitment” program, users must first “register” with
the system. To complete registration user have to click on “Register button” can see the interface
which is given below:

3.1 OTP:
After click on “Register” user get OTP Code in given phone number. To complete the registration
user, have to give the OTP in the given interface:

When OTP is matched user will successfully register. When registration is complete user can
login.
3.2 Login:
To “Log in” to the BWDB Recruitment system user will get a log in form shown below.
1. Users have to type in their Mobile Number in the “Enter Mobile Number” field.
2. Users have to type in their password in the “Enter Password” field.
3. Click on “Login” button.

4 Dashboard:
Once they have successfully logged into their accounts, users can view their “Dashboard”.

There are two panel in dashboard one is left panel and another is right panel as can see figure :4
Applicant Image, Name, Email, and Phone Number can be displayed on the left top. There are also
more options such as Biodata, Video Tutorial, PDF Tutorial, and Terms of Service. As an example,
interface given below:

5 Biodata:
When applying for a job, a user must make a biodata entry. Users can create biodata for two purposes: either
to apply for jobs or to store it for future usage by other users. To fill up personal data, the user needs to click
“Biodata”. The user is greeted with the screen below after choosing “Biodata”:

To create biodata user, have to click on Edit biodata and fill the mandatory information such as:

➢ Type Post Office.
➢ Type Post Code.
➢ Type Union.
➢ Type Village.
➢ Type House No/Road No.
[Note: If applicant present and permanent address is same, he/she need to click on “check box”
automatically present address will be fill-up]
5.4 Educational:
5.4.1 Secondary School Certificate/O/Dakhil/Voc/Trade
➢ Select Examination.
➢ Select Group.
➢ Select Board Name.
➢ Type Name of Institute.
➢ Select Passing Year.
➢ Type Roll.
➢ Select Result, when user select “GPA” GPA field is able to inter information.
5.4.2 Higher Secondary School Cert/A/Alim/Survey/Diploma (if applicable)
➢ Select Examination.

➢ Select Group.
➢ Select Board Name.
➢ Type Name of Institute.
➢ Select Passing Year.
➢ Type Roll.
➢ Select Result, when user select “GPA” GPA field is able to type.
5.4.3 Diploma Polytechnic (if applicable)
➢ Select Examination.
➢ Select Group.
➢ Select Board Name.
➢ Type Name of Institute.
➢ Select Passing Year.
➢ Type Roll.
➢ Select Result when user select “GPA” GPA field is able to type.
5.4.4 Graduate (if applicable)
➢ Select Examination.
➢ Select Group.
➢ Select Board Name.
➢ Type Name of Institute.
➢ Select Passing Year.
➢ Type Roll.
➢ Select Result when user select “GPA” GPA field is able to type.
5.4.5 Post Graduate/CMA/CA (if applicable)
➢ Select Examination.
➢ Select Group.
➢ Select Board Name.
➢ Type Name of Institute.
➢ Select Passing Year.
➢ Type Roll.
➢ Select Result when user select “GPA” GPA field is able to type.

When user need more field, she/he can click on “Add More”
5.6 Employment:
➢ Select Organization Type.
➢ Type Employer Name.
➢ Type Address.
➢ Type Designation.
➢ Type Responsibility.
➢ Select Start Date.
5.7 Others:
In bottom there is a section name other which contain “Quotas”, “Attachment”.
Quotas:
Quotas contain many options if applicant have any quota, he/she can select the check box such
as:
Freedom Fighter.
Handicapped.
Orphan.
Tribal.

Attachment:
In attachment user have to upload his/her photo and upload signature. Given photo size must be
300px X 300px and signature size must be 300px X 80px.
When all the information insert user have to select the check box. Select check box mean applicant
agree that all the information, she/she give is correct.
The user is presented with two alternatives after entering all the data: Save as Draft and Save and
Apply. Clicking Save and Draft stores all of the user's input. or should the user select Save and
Apply.
Once all the data has been saved, the user only needs to click “Edit Biodata” if they need to edit
or alter any of the biodata.

When user apply in one or more than one jobs, user can see Applied job list in Dashboard:
In Next there are two buttons by clicking the first button, the applicant may view additional
information about the applied position. By clicking the second button, the user can download the
admit.

6 Video and Tutorial:
Clicking on Video and Tutorial displays the interface where users can play the selected videos.
7 Term of Services:
When user click on “Term of Services” can see the interface like this where all the terms and
conditions are given:

8 Help Desk:
When user face any problem or have any query user have to be click on “Help Desk”. Clicking help desk
button user can see interface like this where the address, contact no, email also google map are available
for user:
