General Remarks
All estimations of man-hours are based on high cube containers and include:

PVC between aluminum and steel parts.

MIG welding when joining steel parts.
TIG welding when joining aluminum-parts

The “Man-hours per piece” listed in this section of the Standard Time System (STS) are the Maximum allowable time
for the respective repair jobs. However, it is an important duty of the repair management to ensure the number
of STS hours applied, against each repair job, is minimized and that no conflicting STS codes are applied.

Calculation of Patch Sizes

If patch sizes not as described in this manual, please use the repair code which covers the circumference of the
actual patch.

Actual patch 850 x 450 (circumference = 2.600 mm) the proper code to use is 1115 (patch 900 x 600) whose
circumference covers the actual circumference.
Actual patch 1.150 x 500 (circumference = 3.300 mm) the smallest patch which covers the circumference is
1.200 x 900 and the proper code is 1116.
