Vulcan 20-20: In the UK, a laser called Vulcan 20-20 will become the most powerful in the world
when it is finished in 2029.
It is named as such because it will generate a main laser beam with an energy output of 20
Petawatts (PW) alongside eight high-energy beams with an output of up to 20 Kilojoules (KJ).
It will produce a beam one million, billion, billion times brighter than the most intense sunlight.

Biopic ‘800’: The biopic titled ‘800’ is based on the life of Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan,

Diana Edulji: Former India captain Diana Edulji became the first Indian woman inducted into the
ICC Hall of Fame.
Hallucunate: The Cambridge Dictionary named ‘hallucinate’ as its Word of the Year for 2023.
Miss Universe 2023: Sheynnis Palacios, from Nicaragua, has been crowned Miss Universe for the
year 2023, marking her country's first win at the international beauty pageant.
Virat Kohli: Kohli broke Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 ODI centuries and named the record for
most (50) ODI centuries.
He has also been awarded with the ‘player of the tournament’ title in the ICC World Cup 2023.
