FYI the other array CN497800135 at this same dark site had identical issue where it was powered down but
due to CMOS battery issue (020B error) on both directors, it fails the vault restore as NVD is cleared and
NVD vault id is back to 00 instead of 02 as it was before power down. I manually set TOD and the NVD vault
2021-02-07 ID correctly and hard reset the box, vault restore went OK and box is back online.

020B have been logging on both boards for a while, this array is still pre-production also. CMOS voltage
George Matri on both boards is reported 0.96 on the IPMI SENSORS output.

After online, I ran the 8D,,,ONLD,VTOC and it reported "vtoc_release (0x9) is valid" on both boards.

Both boards are going to be replaced on this array also and sent back for WWFA.

THe Global variable ?vtoc_release? should be correct as of now because IML step 14/b1 after vault restore
2021-01-15 reinitializes it based on GM VTOC info from vault. Can we run inline 8D,,,ONLD,VTOC to verify.

Issue Description:
-250F with 2 Dirs.
-Array was intially running without production.
-The DC suffered a power outage on Jan 9th and soon another one outage(very short interval).
-When checking the array, can see both Dir 1 and 2 are DD with incorrect system time(Showing as 2016
instead of 2021).
-From the 6F,PLOG,TIM1, can see the array was trying to power up twice Aug 3rd 2016(which should be 2021
Jan 9th) but all failed at "restroe_fail" state
-The vault state is restore_fail(11)
-Captured E7,CF at that moment:

Troubleshooting Steps Performed:


-Firslty see SPS-3A lost communication. reseating the cable fixed the issue.
-Then tried to bring up the array but failed.
-Then see Vault restore failure due to vauld id value mismatch between NVD(0) and Flash slic(2).
-The valud on flash slic is correct. so manually changed the nvd value to 2.
-As director time was changed back to sevearl years back after power loss, ran 8C to change the director
time.
-Then did a hard reset ,now box online.
-However, can still see 770B.42/46(IML ERROR: Illegal vtoc release found in GM/IML ERROR: VTOC RELEASE IN
NVD IS NOT LEGAL ) logging, seems the VTOC time info in NVD was lost during the power loss

Current Impact:
N/A

Expectations of Engineering:
Please confirm if we can safely ignore the 770B.42/46 or should do something to write them back
