Stakeholders Insights and Voice
Critical Lens: Global Ecosystems
1. American Universities: More focused on research and innovation. The learnings from these universities are their decentralized
structure, strong emphasis on the research output, and impact of liberal arts on the study. Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard
University, and California Institute of Technology are some of the universities under this criterion.

2. European Universities: Known for their long legacy of achievements over history. Their resilience and agility are exemplary for all
education-related personnel and institutions. Oxford, Deggendorf Institute of Technology of Germany, and Ecole 42 of France are some
European universities in this study.

3. Pan-Asian Universities: Good example of the blending of modernity and traditions. Government support in these universities is a
great reason for them to excel in the world stage of success. The National University of Singapore, Seoul National University of South
Korea, and Tsinghua University of China are some distinguished Pan-Asian Universities.

4. South Asian Universities: Historically worked as a building block of the national image, including our University of Dhaka. These
universities have been keeping a great role in the economic elevation along with the overall development of the country by getting relief
from negative issues like poverty and misconceptions of life standards or mitigating some prevalent issues that obstruct the
development.

5. Middle-Eastern Universities: Serving dual roles in preserving theological traditions and promoting secularism, reflecting the
region's diverse cultural and intellectual environment. They have acted as both bastions of religious faith and institutions of secular
thought, showing that embracing religious beliefs does not hinder academic progress. The Abdullah Gül University of Türkiye is a
university of the Middle East relevant to the study.
