I. Objectives

performance, and as a career opportunity.
B. Performance Standards Leads fitness events with proficiency and confidence resulting in
independent pursuit and in influencing others positively.
C. Learning Competencies/ Explain physical activity and aerobic movement or exercises;
Objective and LC code Distinguishes the benefits of physical activity to an individual;
Execute basic aerobic movements or exercises;
Advocate physical activity among family, school, and the
community.

B. Reviewing Previous lesson or The teacher will measure the depth of knowledge of the
presenting the new lesson students in physical education. The teacher will process the
answers and relate the ideas and opinion collected to the topic
to be discussed.

allowing the students to read the given objectives listed on the
screen.
D. Discussing new concepts and 1. The teacher will allow the students to share what they

activities they are engaged in, both intentional and
routine.
3. The teacher will ask the students to distinguish the
benefits of physical activity to an individual (physical
benefits, mental health benefits, social benefits,
adopting healthy behaviors, and academic
performance).
4. The teacher will introduce the concept of aerobic
movements, or exercises.
