The color homebase questionnaire


In the first initial consultation. Mai identified gold , yellow , black, red color tones as
those in which were most flattering to her complexion.
As colors are an important aspect in what to wear, a color analysis questionnaire was
conducted to determine Mai’s true natural coloring based on the pigment colors in her
eyes, hair and skin tones. By analyzing Mai’s three natural features (eyes, hair and skin
tones), I was able to determine the perfect seasonal color palette. At first, Mai was
identified as Winter / Summer season colors. Shades as red, navy , grey, yellow , purple
bring out a healthy glow to Mai’s complexion, confirming that she is a deep winter.
Deep Winter

As Mai is deep winter seasonal color who has a dark hair color and a
golden skin tone, Mai will look best wearing deep winter colors and a
few soft summer colors.

As Mai’s dark hair color & dark brown eye color, as a Deep Winter, Mai
will stick to colors as navy, blue, greens.. and those colors are deep and
will give an impression of a powerful woman.

Basics should be black & white or red.

Because of her tanned skin tone, a white color (dress) will suits her
perfectly.

Most blue shades & green can be worn, in addition to dark purple and
soft pink.

For nights going, she can wear dark navy, emerald, plum, or charcoal.

The winter girl will always stick to black with a bit of reddish, these
shades will always look perfect on her.

Makeup

As winter is the warmest of the four color seasons, dark, cool, patterns
are the most flattering shades. Mai will need to avoid summer colors ,
by keeping her entire look cool and warm.. If summer colors are worn,
these colors will be too soft ,and will draw attention to your flaws. The
make up will end up wearing you.

Cheek colors: Bronze / Plum

Eyeliner: Black / aubergine

Eyeshadow :Black brown / steel / heather / warm red / dark green

Lipstick : True red / burgundy/ mahogany / plum / soft mauve
