The metallic dot should be pointed straight towards the target so that it can rotate
backwards (as depicted by the blue arrow) when it is struck. If there is limited ball
flight before the net, the dot can be rotated to point almost directly away from the
target, but you don’t want the club to impact the dot on the shot.
