INTRODUCTION ABOUT INTERNSHIP
➢ An internship is a professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to a
student’s field of study or career interest. An internship gives a student the opportunity for career
exploration and development, and to learn new skills. It offers the employer the opportunity to bring
new ideas and energy into the workplace, develop talent and potentially build a pipeline for future
fulltime employees.
➢ Internships are supervised, structured learning experiences in a professional setting that allow you to
gain valuable work experience in a student’s chosen field of study.
➢ The internship program is designed to provide students engaged in a field experience with an
opportunity to share their insights, to explore the links between student’s academic preparation and
their field work, and to assist participants in developing and carrying out the major research project
which will serve to culminate their internship experience.
➢ In addition, an internship can be used to build a professional network that can assist with letters of
recommendation or lead to future employment opportunities.

❖ Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all
other aspects of service.
❖ Rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
