Internet of Things(IoT):
2. Sensors and Data Collection: IoT devices are equipped with sensors that allow
them to collect various types of data, such as temperature, humidity, location,
motion, and more.
3.Data Processing and Analysis: The data collected by IoT devices is processed
and analyzed, often in real-time, to derive insights or trigger actions based on
specific conditions or events.
5.Remote Monitoring and Management: IoT allows for remote monitoring and
management of devices and systems, which can lead to increased efficiency and
cost savings.
6. Integration with Other Systems: IoT can integrate with other software or
systems, such as cloud computing platforms, to enhance functionality and enable
more complex applications.
IoT has a wide range of applications across various industries including smart
homes, healthcare, agriculture, transportation, manufacturing, and more. It has
14
the potential to revolutionize how we interact with our environment and the
objects around us, making processes more efficient, data-driven, and responsive
to real-world conditions.

2.2.2 Hand Following Robot
Hand following robot is a robot that can follow the movement of a
human hand. This is typically done using infrared sensors or ultrasonic
sensors to detect the hand's movement. The robot will then use its
motors to move in the same direction as the hand.

• 2.2.3 IR Sensor Robot
An IR remote controlled robot is a robot that can be controlled using an
infrared remote control. This is typically done by using an infrared sensor to
detect the signals from the remote control. The robot will then use its motors to
move in the direction of the signal.

2.2.4 3D BUDDY
3D Buddy is a 3D printed Arduino social robot kit that is designed to be a fun
and educational STEM project for kids and adults. It is a small, mobile robot
that can be programmed to move around, interact with its environment, and
express emotions.
The 3D Buddy kit includes all the parts you need to build the robot, including
the 3D printed body, motors, sensors, and Arduino board. You will also need
to provide your own tools and electronics components.
The 3D Buddy robot can be programmed using the Arduino IDE. There are a
number of tutorials available online that can help you get started. Once you
have programmed the robot, you can interact with it using voice commands or
by touching its sensors.

The otto robot involves a 3D printed robot which can walk, dance, sing and
even ignore the obstacles. The otto robot had parts like the 3D printed body,
Arduino nano with shield, 4 servos for without arms and 6 servos for with arms
otto robot, ultrasonic sensor and a buzzer. The servos were attached to the arms
and hand joints for the movement. The ultrasonic was used for avoiding the
obstacles and the buzzer was used for playing music. Our main task was to
assemble the robot the assembling was easy but after assembling the robot we
have to calibrate the servos such that the legs and the arms are in proper
direction. The calibration was done using a calibration app available on the
otto official website. After calibration we have to upload code in the otto so
that it can perform the given actions. The code was implemented using the app
called otto blocky. Similarly, we had done this by printing our own PHN otto

2.2.6 Welcome Project
The welcome project is a simple Arduino project that uses a PIR sensor to
detect the presence of a person. When the PIR sensor detects a person, it
activates a speaker to play a welcome message.
A robotic arm using syringes is a type of robot that uses syringes to move its
parts. The syringes are connected to hydraulic cylinders, which use pressurized
fluid to move the cylinders and the parts of the robot.
This type of robot can be used for a variety of tasks, such as picking and
placing objects, dispensing liquids, and performing surgery. It is often used in
20
industrial applications where it is necessary to move objects with precision and
accuracy.

2.3 Non-Technical
A national level hackathon will be organized by PHN Technology Pvt Ltd. It will
be a 48 hours hackathon which will invite brilliant minds across India to present their
problem-solving skills across all domains including mechanical, electronics branches.
The main objective of this project is that students from across country would
contact us for guidance for their major projects, where a live doubt session would be
held for students and they would be given a lab manual on how to their project and
further extra featuring would be done by students and second part consists of a
package that will provide all the necessary things for cracking MNC’s interview.
The real-time implementation project work at PHN Techno Lab not only provides us
with valuable hands-on experience but also fosters innovation, teamwork, and
problem-solving skills. We are committed to delivering a successful and impactful
project that showcases our technical capabilities and contributes to the advancement
of technology in the industry.

3.Learning Experience
a) Knowledge acquired
26
b) Skills learned
Throughout the internship project, as we were working on the same
project as a team, the most important skill that I have acquired is of Team
Management which plays a very important role in our professional life.
Along with this I have achieved some of the basic technical skills of IoT
& Robotics. During this Internship, we have also planned activities at
national level and how to manage those activities, other skills that I have
achieved is communication, problem solving and creativity
During initial days of internship, I was completely unaware of the task I was
assigned, as I was not aware of the field, I’m working in but with right
guidance and research I overcame the problem and completed my tasks
efficiently. The most tedious task was doing the right connections because a
slight mistake in forming proper connections, the whole system would short
circuit but over time I learnt how to form proper connections
27
4.Conclusion:
In the field of IoT, I have witnessed the potential of interconnected devices and
data-driven insights to revolutionize industries. Through the smart agriculture
monitoring system project, I have learned how IoT solutions can optimize
resource management, enhance decision-making processes, and improve
operational efficiency.
