Written Assignment Unit 2:

Knowing my MBTI profile!!!!

1. preference profile. Do this early, to avoid complications and last minute inquiries.

It is important to read the FULL DESCRIPTION of the Jungian test prior to taking it.

When reading about the test, you will need to recall the preliminary self-assessment

you did last week when you established a four-letter profile that you thought fits your

personal preferences. This is very important for validity reasons.

Here’s my MBTI test result!!!

The answer of the question 3-7:

According the ‘’Jungian Test’’; my personality type is ENFJ. I’m Extraverted

Intuitive Feeling Judging in caracter.

By reading characteristics of this personality style; I deduct that this type is very rare

and distinctive character. People having this character are warmful, responsible,

emphatic and loyal to others by helping them to complete their tasks.

So if I have this character is a business or academic milieu, I would have the

opportinuty to manipulate others in positive way to reach their goals. In a business

milieu, I’m the one who takes responsibilities and decisions for organization for the

interest of others in the organization. ‘’ Like most NFs, (and Feelers in general), they
are apt to neglect themselves and their own needs for the needs of others.’’ (nd, 2014,

para4). So, I’m sociable and I provide inspiring leadership in Business.

In academic milieu, I’m a global learner who like to discover new things, new ideas

from others and understand how people perceive the world. I have an absolute

ambition to focus on my achieving goals and boost other in their learning career. I like

challenging things and used to learn from my experience. I like mobilizing and

organizing people with respect and consideration of their beliefs and theories in order

to meet the organization’s priority, leading them to their succss in their working

environment.

The opposite personality type of mine is the ISTP which means Intraverted Sensing

Thinking Perceiving. People with this character type tends to be great observers and

analyzer, they wait until a problem occurred and takes decision to figure out solutions

of that problem. ‘’Tolerant and flexible, quiet observers until a problem appears, then

act quickly to find workable solutions.’ (Isabel, 2024, para 6).’ They are flexible and

take their time to study a situation before taking decisions or judging, so they are strict

and like logic principles when evaluating values of the society for example.

I personally like this type of personality which I find complementary to my views

about the sociaty. Because we need people who analyze situation, Judging people

according the result of their analyze among them. Dealing with people of this

character type will be very easy for me to success in School as they follow rules and

are tolerantg to people. A friend of my who have this character in my classrom had a

difficult to adapt to the pressure of others as he needed of lot of flexibility to express

spontaneously in the class. He had a issues on how to communicate with others in

order to present his ideas and is in somehow difficult to understand about his humors.
I did understand how to process with that friend as he needed someone who read his

emotions and understand how he perceive the world. So having a great consideration

towards these people will be a great opportinuty for them to let them express their

ideas, views and feelings in learning area.

In working environment; ISTP people are very useful and they provide equality and

establishes rules to everyone without exception. They tends to equilibrate people’s

rights in the working area and are very tolerant to others’ effort in the way of bulding

the organization. So, I had great positive relationships with one of my previous

Bosses who was ISTP type even if he was exigent to general principles and rules. I

knew that I had to deal with him in order to fit the work’s requirements.

When I think about two difficult situations that I faced before which were related to

my school and work performance. The first happened when I was doing my high

school diploma; I was supposed to get high grade in mathematics in order to sucess

the exam as the coefficient of that subject was important for my final grade. So, the

challenge was to understand my teacher’s explanations well but unfortunately, he

wasn’t a good explainer. I had to deal with my personality strenghts like being self-

motivated, self-controller in order to overcome this issue. So, I organized myself and

decide to do some extra researchs in order to understand the subject on my own way.

This paid as I got a good grade during the final exam.

When I make a link between this situation and what I learnt during the two past

weeks; I would say that my personality type is responsible for how I handled the

situation as I used my self-control competence to be positive and stay focused in any

situation of pressure.
Another situation faced in my working area was to speak english fluently with my co-

worker as they all spoke only english. This was a big challenge for me to handle this

situation, I had to speak english no matter how it will cost me. So, to solve this issue;

I used my own competences as social awareness to build congrete relationship with

my collegues in order to learn that language from them by speaking oftenly with

them.

In few months, I started speaking and understanding well english. This finally worked

well for me and I got more promotion in my working area.

Based on my own knowledge of EI and MBTI, the following strategies are the one

that I will use to handle difficult situations:

 Self-Motiavtion which is very important for us to become optimist, keep

persisting for our goals no matter how obstacles and issues we meet. Believing on

positive outcomes instead of being fear of failure.

 Social-control which allow me to manage and stay focused on my goals no matter

how pressure I get involved. This allows me to control my stress and rsolve the

issue step by step without escaping important steps of the problem solving

process.

 Conscientiousness which is makes things easy for me to adapt with, sort and give

priority to important isues and become flexible with solutions. This makes me

more organized and wareful to my work.
