Guidelines For Submission of ICE 2 - Project
Guidelines For Submission of ICE 2 - Project
General Guidelines:
• In this Mode, each learner will be required to do research on the topic allotted and
will be evaluated out of 15 marks.
• The students are required to submit their Projects to Ms. Tanya Sharma, on or before
the date of submission.
• The Project should state the details of the learner like Name, PRN, Division, Batch,
Programme and Academic Year.
• The Project must be accompanied with a Turnitin Plagiarism Report. No submission
will be accepted without the aforesaid report. Projects with more than 10% plagiarized
content shall be marked zero.
• Despite the report’s content similarity being lower, if any form of plagiarism,
undetected by Turnitin, is identified, the learner will have to face a penalty of negative
marking of up to five marks.
• Classes – course wise for Batch 2022-2027 at Turnitin will be created
• Upload complete assignment in your respective Class @Turnitin
• Once the Turnitin report is generated, download it and then upload the same
report as is generated on ‘Assignment @Microsoft Teams', as applicable in a
given case, for evaluation.
• Late submission will invite the deduction of 1.5 marks per day. Deduction of the marks
to be calculated from the last date of submission.
Instruction on AI Detection
Overview:
AI detection tools are employed to ensure the originality and integrity of submitted projects.
These tools help identify content that may have been generated or heavily influenced by
artificial intelligence. It is crucial for students to understand how AI detection works and the
implications of AI-flagged plagiarism.
• AI detection tools analyse text patterns, structures, and writing styles to identify content
generated by AI.
• Familiarize yourself with the common AI detection tools used by the institution (e.g.,
Turnitin, Grammarly, Copyleaks).
• Ensure that your project reflects your own research, analysis, and writing.
• Plagiarism, whether human or AI-generated, undermines academic integrity and can lead
to severe consequences.
• AI tools can assist in grammar checking and generating ideas, but should not be used to
write substantial parts of your project.
• Always review and critically evaluate any content suggested or generated by AI tools.
• If you use AI tools to generate any part of your content, it must be properly cited and
acknowledged.
• Follow the citation guidelines provided by your institution for AI-generated content.
• Write your project in your own words and ensure it is a reflection of your understanding
and research.
• Use AI tools ethically and responsibly, ensuring that the final submission is your original
work.
Suggestions:
• Start your research early to avoid the temptation of using AI tools to complete the
project quickly. (Form a structure/synopsis of the Project before)
• Develop your writing skills by practicing and seeking feedback from peers or
instructors.
• Maintain honesty in your academic work to uphold the integrity of your education.
• Utilize the resources provided by your institution, such as writing centres or libraries,
for assistance with your project.
• Seek guidance on how to effectively integrate your research without compromising
originality.
Final Review:
• Before submission, review your project for any sections that might be flagged by AI
detection tools.
• Make necessary revisions to ensure your project is a true representation of your own
work.
• By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your project maintains academic
integrity and avoids issues related to AI detection and plagiarism
