 ABSTRACT

The system is an Android / iOS Application acts as a Tour Guide giving out outputs
tothe user for every input given to the system. This System tries the user to gives a heads-up
givingthe weather conditions to make sure that the user will be comfortable to visit the desired
place.System is basically used to help a traveller new to the city or anyone who wants to explore
a cityin the given time period showing the places with all their information to sort and place it
beforetheuser in 3 paths to makehis choice.

ThePlaces aresortedandselectedbased onthe top rakingsbytheuser.

TheUserhasoptions to select for the places he wants to visit for instance parks, beaches
monuments or foodjoints and so on; the system will ask whether he is searching for the current
locality or someotherplace.

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 Introduction

The project is an advance and yet highly promising system helping a tourist or any user to
getaccurate and best data for a place in no time. This System is an Android / iOS Application
acts asa Tour Guide giving out outputs to the user for every input given to the system. This
System triesthe user to gives a heads-up giving the weather conditions to make sure that the user
will becomfortable to visit the desired place. The User has options to select for the places he
wants tovisitforinstanceparks,beachesmonumentsorfoodjointsandsoon;thesystemwillaskwhether
he is searching for the current locality or some other place. The System is very flexiblein
changing places and makes use of Google maps and 360 degree images to display places if
theuserwishesto.

The application smartly makes it a way in analyzing user’s likes and dislikes and the
timeperiod the user is willing to explore a place and gives him with amazing results in the form
of 3paths to utilize the time. This System is basically used to help a traveller new to the city
oranyone who wants to explore a city in the given time period showing the places with all
theirinformation to sort and place it before the user in 3 paths to make his choice. The Places
aresorted and selected based on the top rakings by the user. During the user Registration the user
isasked some questions helping them to filter out in searching the places, the places are
displayedon the maps giving a clear idea of the location and giving the paths from one place to
anotherfrom the start location to the end location. The Time shouldn’t exceed 22 hours and the
travelplan theuserchooses is saved onlyforasingle dayandexceedingwill bedissolved.

Also the system that provides an effective solution for users to plan, manage and
scheduletheirtouraccordingtotheirrequirementsanddemands.Oftenpeoplegetconfusedwhileplannin
g for a tour. First of all they hardly know places where they can spend a good time.Further there
comes money constraint. This system solves all problems of the client by providingthemdifferent
packagesand facilityto personalizetheirtour.

The most important part of the project is its tour packages and customization. The
databaseconsists of a list of tours and their packages. The system promises to build 3 different
areas fordemonstratingitsfunctionalityappropriately.Theusermayviewvarioustoursavailable.Each

tour consists of three kinds of packages that includes economic, semi deluxe and deluxe for
stay,food and travelling. Users may choose the destination and package as and when needed. The
usercan plan and book a fully customizable trip with various packages available. The user may
evencancel his booking using his login credentials. After successful booking user can make
paymentviaademo credit cardand getsanacknowledgement email too.

1.2 Aim and Objectives

The main objective behind the development and upgradation of existing projects are
thefollowingsmart approaches:

1.3 Motivation
The usage of this application greatly reduces the time required to search for a place leading
toquicker decision making with respect to places to visit. It becomes convenient for users to
booktheirtour via app insteadofvisitingagencyultimatelysavestime and money.

Provides a customized view of the tour to users. The app is easy, flexible, robust, secure
andreliableto use.

1.4 Scope

The usage of this system greatly reduces the time required to search for a place leading
toquicker decision making with respect to places to visit. Used to view the location view (the
usercan even zoom in and zoom out to get a better view) as well as 360 degree image embedded
inthe application. The System makes use of weather underground API for fetching the details
ofweatherat accuracy.

 The user can also find the paths to follow to reach the final destination in map which gives
abetter view to the users. It becomes convenient for users to book their tour via website instead
ofvisitingagencyultimatelysaves time and money.

2. LITERATURESURVEY

2.1 Introduction
Our project is an application which acts as a Tour Guide giving out outputs to the user
forevery input given to the system. This System tries the user to gives a heads-up giving the

User hasoptions to select for the places he wants to visit for instance parks, beaches monuments
or foodjoints and so on; the system will ask whether heis searching for the current locality or
someotherplace.
But in our project we are providing the combination of all the other existing systems. In
oursystem we are implementing some additional features like Place rating according to user,
PanicButton(offline), Live weather condition, Group travel(via social media), Auto place
suggestionbased onGPS.

2.2 ExistingSystem
In existing system all work are done manually. In Manual Booking System Customer has
togo to the Travelling office. Ask Inquiry for Travelling then Book ticket Finally Pay Payment
&Collect Receipt. Difficult To Maintain the Customer Details of Package and Payment Receipt
inRegister. They Register Tour Package in the notebook. Add advertisement in Local newspaper
orLocalMarket. UseTravellingFacilityFortheLimitedAreaor Person.
The existing system like Tripoto isa social travel platform in whichpeople share
theirstories,travel experiences, blogs,Iternariesetc.

2.3 NeedofNewSystem
Currently, many people are using the internet as a central platform to find the
informationabout tourist destinations. There are millions of results of the application containing
the neededtravelinformation,andthey are over the whole worldwithdifferentof
contentlanguages,cultures and performances. Moreover, nowadays people prefer to make
decisions based on whatthey read from various sources. Described that many people used these
common questions whenfinding the information about travel, where to go? What transportation
to use? And what hotelsare recommended to stay? Proposed a system that recommends tourist
profiling that help user toanswertheuser questions

2.4 ProblemsDefinition

The system is an Android Application that will act as a Tour Guide that will suggest users
forevery point without taking any input to the system thusthe name “Smart Approach”.
ThisSystem tries the user to gives a heads-up giving the weather conditions to make sure that the
userwill be comfortable to visit the desired place. System is basically used to help a traveler new
tothe city or anyone who wants to explore a city in the given time period showing the places
withall their information to sort and place it before the user in 3 paths to make his choice. The
Placesare sorted and selected based on the top rankings by the user. The User has options to
select forthe places he wants to visit for instance parks, beaches monuments or food joints and so
on; thesystemwill ask whetherheissearchingforthe current localityor someother place.

The proposed system is a simpler and merged version of all the 3 different most
accessedmodulesrelatedtotravel.Theseare-
Gettinginformationaboutspecificsight,planning,organising and managing trips and a basic safety
app which never lets you down and feel alonewhen you are travelling. The system solves all
problems of the client by providing them differentpackages and facility to personalize their tour.
Users may choose the destination and package asand when needed. The user can plan and book a
fully customizable trip with various packagesavailable. The user may even cancelhis booking
using his login credentials. After

acknowledgementemailtoo.

Planning Your Day: The user has to just put in his start time, end time and the start
locationandthe rest theSystem does its work.

3.3Methodologyused

We will implement the system using Android Studio and mysql for the database. The
requireditems are fetched from the database such as users details along with his/her name, places
review,visited places, feedback, etc. The admin can have authority to access the database. Once
the useris logged in, they are provided with certain privileges. We can link the different forms
usingmysqlto usethe system.

4. CONCLUSION
