 Before we proceed to the Assessment Proper, I
would like to welcome
 MR. ERNESTO DELGADO, TESDA Representative.

will not be the one to assess you.
He is here to oversee if my conduct of
assessment is in accordance with the prescribed
methodology standard and procedures.

Assessment that is the indication that you can perform all the tasks
Guide in qualification for OAP NC II

Purpose Today I will administer the assessment for OAP NC II

The purpose of this assessment is to check the level of

your competency enumerated in OAP NC II qualification
and be OAP NC II holder.

Coverage The OAP NC II consists of 4 core competencies

 Raise Organic chicken
 Produce Organic Vegetable
 Produce Organic Fertilizer
 Produce Organic Concoctions and Extracts
Tasks  The task to be performed are the following:
 Select good stocks of chicken
 Prepare organic seedling tray (lokong)
 Gardening (Apply basal and foliar fertilizer)
 Prepare various concoctions
 Harvest concoctions

Methods The method that I’m going to use for this assessment
are written test, demonstration and oral
questioning.

Results The result of assessment it could be “Competent” and

“Not Yet Competent”

This type of Assessment is COC (Certificate of

Competency).

If the result of your assessment is “Not Yet Competent”,

you will take reassessment ONLY ON THE
COMPETENCY/IES in which you are NOT YET
COMPETENT. And what you HAVE TO DO is to practice
and review your module. If you are confident enough,
you need to apply for reassessment at the Assessment
Center

If you are rated competent you may claim your

COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT RESULT SUMMARY today
after the assessment. For the issuance of your National
Certificate please wait for your NC to be emailed in your
Email account that you have provided at the
assessment center during your application

This assessment is confidential. I, you and personnel

inside this assessment area keep the results
confidential and this assessment monitored by the
CCTV and can be seen in the Regional Center
Command.

In the event that you do not conform with the results of

your assessment you are free to write an appeal to the
Provincial Office addressed to the Provincial Director.

Personal If you need to attend to your personal necessity, our CR

Necessities is located beside the Computer Room, if you want to
buy your food, our canteen is located at the ground
floor.

Specific Before I distribute your No., please read the Specific
Instructions Instruction to the Candidate, so that you will be able
to know what you are going to do during this
assessment. If you don’t understand some things, don’t
hesitate to ask me. Any questions or clarifications? Do

Written Test Here is your written test. Please read the instructions
carefully. You are given 30 minutes to answer all the
questions. Good luck. You may start now.
We will proceed with the demonstration. But first, I will
Groupings divide the group into smaller groups. Since you are ten
(10), I will divide the group into two. Candidates #1-5,
you are Group 1; Candidates #6-10 you are Group 2.
Group 1 the order of your tasks is as follows:
First, you will go to the garden area and apply basal
and foliar fertilizers
Next, you will prepare various concoctions;
And, you will harvest concoctions.

Group 2, your tasks will be in this order:

First, you will prepare various concoctions;
Next, you will harvest concoctions;
And you will apply basal and foliar fertilizers in the
garden.

The group tasks will be followed by individual tasks, and

these are:
Select good stocks of chicken and Prepare organic
seedling tray (lokong).

Demonstration Here are the materials, tools and equipment to be used
 TO DO THE TASKS WITHIN 4 HOURS .

While you are performing the tasks, I will observe you

using the Rating Sheet. After your demonstration, I
will ask you some questions related to your
demonstration, and I will give feedbacks. Again,
remember safety first. You may start now…

Demonstration is done.

Interview Candidate No. 1, please sit down. How’s your

assessment? Since you have finished the
demonstration, I will give you first question to know
your underpinning knowledge.

“Competent” Based on my observation in the oral questioning you

have answered satisfactorily

Based on your demonstration on:

Selecting good stocks of organic chicken
Preparing organic seedling tray (lokong)
Preparing CRH
Gardening (Apply basal and foliar fertilizer)
Preparing various concoctions
Harvesting concoctions

Competent” Since you are done performing the two projects, I will
ask you first some questions related to your
demonstration.
[Note: Ask question to all projects if necessary. At least
2 questions each. Not necessarily the same Qs with
“Competent” candidate]

If you were given the privilege to rate your self 1to 10,

Based on my observation you have answered the oral

question satisfactorily.

So, as far as the competency in Produce Organic

Concoctions and Extracts is concerned, you are Not Yet
Competent… Do you have any questions so far?

All in all the result of your assessment is NYC. I suggest

you need to practice or review your module. If you are
ready and confident to take the assessment, you have
to apply at the assessment center for reassessment,
and you will be reassessed provided there is schedule
of the assessment and the assessor is available.

Please sign first the CARS and Rating Sheet. For the
issuance of your please wait for your COC to be emailed
in your Email account that you have provided at the
assessment center during your application. But I
suggest that you apply for re-assessment and strive to
get competent in all of the competencies so that you
will be able to receive your National Certificate II. Thank
