Applications are invited in prescribed proforma for filling up various posts on
Deputation/Transfer/Direct recruitment basis as detailed here under. The provisions of
reservation for SC, ST and OBC will be as per U.P. Government rules. The fee (Non
refundable) @ Rs. 1000.00 for General/OBC Candidates and Rs. 500.00 for SC/ST
candidates for each post will be accepted only through Bank Draft in favour of
COMPTROLLER, NARENDRA DEVA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND
TECHNOLOGY, KUMARGANJ, FAIZABAD payable at SBI, Pithla, Faizabad (Branch Code
No. 6925). The application complete in all respect alongwith the attested copies of the
testimonials/certificates should reach to the Administrative Officer, N. D. U. A. & T.,
Kumarganj, Faizabad-224229 (U.P.) within one month from the date of Advertisement
(Latest by 21 December, 2011) through Registered/Speed Post only. In service candidates
may send their application through proper channel however an advance copy should reach
within time to the office of undersigned to avoid administrative delay. Separate Application

1. Director, Agriculture Experiment Station (Director of Research)
Pay Scale Rs. 37400-67000 AGP 10,000 (This post is tenurial for five years and can
be extended for another tenure.)
Essential Qualifications:
i) Atleast Second Class Master Degree in any branch of Agriculture.
ii) A Doctorate Degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/Agricultural Technology.
iii) Ability to plan, organise, guide and execute research activities.
iv) 10 years experience of teaching /research.
Desirable:
i) Evidence of published work in scientific journals of repute.
ii) Ability of leadership.
iii) Rural outlook.

2. Director of Extension
Pay Scale Rs. 37400-67000 AGP 10,000 (This post is tenurial for five years and can
be extended for another tenure.)
Essential Qualifications:
i) Atleast Second Class master Degree in any branch of Agriculture.
ii) Ability to plan, organise and execute extension activities.
iii) Administrative experience in a responsible position for a considerable period.
iv) A Doctorate degree in any branch of Agriculture.
v) Rural outlook.
Desirable:
i) 10 years experience of teaching/Research/Extension education in the subject.
ii) Evidence of published work in scientific journals of repute.
iii) Ability of leadership.

3. Programme Coordinator-(KVKs): Pay Scale 15600-39100+ AGP 8000, for 3 years and
Rs. 37400-67000+ AGP 9000 Onward. (11 Posts) UR-3, OBC-4, SC-4
Essential Qualification:
Doctoral degree in relevant field of Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Science/ Fisheries
including relevant basic science with 4 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension
Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-13,500 having made
contribution to research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published
work/innovations.

OR
Doctoral degree in relevant field of Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Sciences/ Fisheries
including relevant basic sciences with 4 years experience of high quality post-doctoral
research in an institution of repute evidenced by publication in high impact/renowned
journals.
Desirable: Specialization in implementing extension education programmes.

4. Subject Matter Specialist KVKs: Pay Scale 15600-39100+AGP 5400) (26 Posts)
The grade pay of Rs. 6000 is under consideration.

Essential Qualification: Masters degree in the relevant field of equivalent qualification
from a recognized University.

5. Programme Assistant (Agriculture): 01 Post for SC Category
Pay Scale 9300-34800 + AGP 4200
Qualification: Bachelors degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications from a
recognized University.

6. Programme Assistant (Farm Manager)-02 Post for SC Category
Pay Scale 9300-34800 + AGP 4200
Qualification: Bachelors degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications from a
recognized University.

7. Programme Assistant (Computer)(07 Posts): OBC-04, SC-03
Pay Scale 9300-34800 + AGP 4200
Essential Qualification:
Bachelors degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications from a recognized
University.

8. Office Superintendent/Accountant (Assistant)(08 Posts): UR-04, OBC-02, SC-02
Pay Scale 9300-34800 + AGP 4200
Essential Qualification: A Bachelors Degree from a recognized University with working
Knowledge of computers.


9. Jr. Stenographer/Computer Assistant (05 Posts): OBC-02, SC-03
Pay Scale 5200-20200 + AGP 2400
Essential Qualification: Matriculation and Knowledge of Computer.
Professional Efficiency: The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or in
Hindi at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will
be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on
computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe
the matter in 75 minutes on manual typewriter or 65 minutes in computer.

The University reserves right to increase and decrease or cancel the number of post. No
TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Application received after the last date or
incomplete application are liable to be rejected. University will not be responsible for any
delay. The labourers working in this University on daily wages may send their application
for class III and Driver post as per their qualification without enclosing DD. They will be
given preferance in selection in compliance of the orders of the Honble High Court. They
should write DLC on their envelope.
