Introduction to the concept of city area/ urban area. Identification of specific functional area
of cities within the zone of influence. Students are required to prepare an integrated urban
development plan for the identified city incorporating components of phasing costing &
pricing implementation mechanism etc. Periodic assessment in the form of reviews will be
carried out with a final jury at the end of the exercise.
