Calculus II Course Outline
2. Course Description:
The main theme of this course is to lay strong foundation to theoretical concepts and techniques in calculus that are needed
for the advanced studies in pure and applied mathematics. This course covers inverse functions, derivatives of inverse
functions, techniques of integration focusing on trigonometric substitution and partial fractions, Trapezoidal rule and
Simpson’s rule, arc length, indeterminate forms, sequences, series and power series.
