-reduces labor costs by replacing some jobs with computers

-smart tv = can connect to internet and other devices

RSI refers to repetitive strain injury which is pain caused by the repeated

-repeated typing
-bad posture
-using a computer for too long without breaks
-bad ergonomics

Preventing RSI:
-taking breaks
-maintaining a good posture while sitting
-stretching in between using a computer
-adjusting the brightness of the monitor
-using suitable font sizes

causes of back pain:


-bad posture
-uncomfortable chairs
-moving heavy computer hardware
-working for too long
-putting the desk far away

ways to prevent back pain:


-sit with a good posture
-adjusting the chair to make it comfortable
-adjusting the desk to make it comfortable
-ask others for help when lifting heavy items
- use proper lifting technique

-poorly maintained wires

how to prevent tripping on cables and wires :


-keep wires organised and tidy
-use chord/wire covers
-place wires along the wall and out of the way
