Battery (9 volt)
1. Resistor :
2. LED :
It is used to convert electrical energy into light energy directly.
It is also used to indicate something.
In this project we will use LED to indicate water level of our tank
i.e.,Low level,Intermediate level or Full level.
3. Battery :
A battery is a device which stores chemical energy and converts it
into electrical energy.
In this project we will use a 9 volt battery as a voltage source to
glow out the led for to know water level of our tank.
Circuit Operation / Working :
After it Switch on the circuit and pour water slightly into the tank .This
circuit is designed to indicate three levels of water stored in the tank: low but not
empty, half and full but not overflowing. When there is no water in the tank, all
the LEDs are off as an indication that the tank is completely empty. When water
level increases and touches the anode of LED 1, the LED 1 will glow indicating
that there is water within the tank is at low level. As the water level continues to
rise and reaches half the tank, LED 2 will glow. When the water in the tank rises
to full LED 3 will glow as an indication that the tank is almost full.
