We are pleased to inform you that in the blessed month of Rabi’ul Awwal, the Religious Society
of The University of Faisalabad is honored to organize a National Qirat and Naat Competition.
This event will offer an opportunity for female students across the country to celebrate the sacred
month by expressing their devotion through the recitation of the Holy Quran and praises of our
beloved Prophet Muhammad ‫صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم‬.
Event Details:
Date: September 20, 2024
Venue:The University of Faisalabad,Sargodha Road, Faisalabad, Saleem Auditorium

We cordially invite your esteemed institution to participate in this event. We respectfully request
that your university nominates one female participant per category to represent your institution
in this prestigious event.
Registration Process:
A registration fee of *PKR 500* per participant is required. Please submit the fee by
September13, 2024.Please confirm your participation by September 11, 2024. We kindly ask that
you provide the names of your nominated participants, along with their selected category, by filling

NATIONAL QIRAT AND NAAT COMPETITION
General Rules for Participants
 Every participant will be given *3 to 5 minutes* for Qirat or Naat.
 Negative marking will be applied for exceeding the time limit.
 Any misbehavior or violation of the rules will result in the disqualification of the participant.
 The decision of the judges will be final and cannot be challenged.
 Position holders will receive their certificates and prizes at the end of the program from the
chief guest.
 All participants will receive participation certificates at the end of the program.
 Participants are required to stay in the auditorium until the group photo is taken.

Rules for Qirat Competition


 Participants will be judged on Tajweed, Clarity of Makharrij, style, tone, and confidence.
 Participants may choose any complete Surah or a part of a Surah for recitation.
 The contestant's confidence level will be a key factor in the judging process.
 Participants should be well-versed and thoroughly prepared for their recitation.

Rules for Naat Competition


 Participants will be judged on their pronunciation, tone, melody, expression, and confidence.
 Participants can select any Naat, but it must be appropriate and respectful in content.
 The contestant's confidence level will be an important aspect of the judging process.
 Participants should be well-prepared and familiar with the Naat they will be reciting.
These rules are designed to ensure a fair and respectful competition, emphasizing both the
technical and spiritual aspects of the performances.
