90th percentile for the 2018 median income of single private school teachers was
Php16,500, find the percentage of teachers whose income was:

IV. Linear Regression and Correlation


• It was found out that the time (in minutes) it takes for a person to finish a reading is
closely related to the number of words he/she reads. Using the linear regression
model below, predict the number of words that a person reads when he/she finished
the reading in 660 minutes. (3pts)

• Suppose the computed linear correlation coefficient (r) of the data above is

Positive high/strong correlation

∴ The strength of relation of the data above is 0.82 then it is high/ strong
correlation.As the time he/she reads increases, the number of words he/she
reads also increases.
