Sushumna Kriya Yoga Meditationa

Sushumna Kriya Yoga is a powerful & ancient meditation technique gifted to us by our Param Gurus. Till the advent of Parama Guru Sri Sri Sri Mahavatar Babaji, the highest spiritual Master of Kriya Yoga, this practice had remained a strictly guarded secret handed over by disciples' succession from Guru to Shishya (disciple). It demanded physical endurance of the highest degree and several hours of meditation in a single sitting.

The meditation on the first day lasts only 21 minutes. Make a

note of this date and keep a journal to check your progress.

A lot of Nadis/chakras/energy centers in our body gets

cleansed during the first 49 days. So, a lot of subtle things
and not so subtle things, rush of energies throughout the
body, vibrations, pulsations, tingling are felt as part of this
process. Try not to miss a single day, if you do miss a day
then you have to add 10 additional days for each missed day.
So, it’s best to find atleast a 21-minute window to complete
the meditation session. By holding the Yoga mudra ( also
called Sri Chakra mudra ) and continuing to do the 49 mins
meditation program a Sri Chakra ( energy center ) is installed
in our Navel or Manipura or Solar Plexus chakra

Use the list below to find a live session from day 2 through
day 49 and find a slot that works best for your work day.
Doing it once a day is more than enough.

6 live sessions are available on YouTube –

( This document is being prepared when Day Light savings
is being observed so the timing will vary once DST ends and
hence the use of EDT/CDT/MDT/PDT instead of
EST/CST/MST/PST )

1. 4am Brahma Muhurta IST – translates to 6:30pm EDT, 5:30pm

CDT, 4:30pm MDT, 3:30pm PDT
2. 6pm Sayam Sandhya IST – translates to 8:30am EDT, 7:30am
CDT, 6:30am MDT, 5:30am PDT

3. 4am Brahma Muhurta UAE time – translates to 5:30am IST,

8pm EDT, 7pm CDT, 6pm MDT, 5pm PDT
4. 8pm Sayam Sandhya UAE time – translates to 9:30pm IST,
12pm EDT, 11am CDT, 10am MDT, 9am PDT
5. 4am Brahma Muhurta Australia time – translates to 11:30pm
IST, 2pm EDT, 1pm CDT, 12pm MDT, 11am PDT
6. 9pm Sayam Sandhya Australia time – translates to 4:30pm IST,
7am EDT, 6am EDT, 5am MDT, 4am PDT

1st option is when Mataji and all Gurus energies and the
group’s energies are available for the entire group sitting
during this time. If you are able to sit and meditate during
this time then it helps one to progress at a better pace. So,
try this timeslot once in a while if not every day

There are a lot of sites to browse in general about meditation

and understand the experiences/visuals one gets during
meditation. Here is a brief response from one such site on
why one need not pay close attention to any of these visuals
or experiences and get carried away in the process –

It is always good to have experiences and visualizations
during meditation because they are encouraging signs for the
seeker. You should enjoy the feeling of bliss you get in
experiences and also ignore all the experiences you may get.
Both the things are necessary. I categorize all experiences as
Kriyas. Dwelling on these divine Kriyas beyond certain
extent is waste of time. Simply because experiences are not
the goal of spiritual efforts.

There is only one seeker (of God) in thousands of people

(0.001% of population) in this world. Almost all of these
seekers mistake experiences as the Goal. That is not true.
Divine experiences are nothing more than signs on the road
to Divine. More than the signs they stand as distractions and
obstacles on the path of divine. As Sadhak/Seeker progresses
on the path, the value of experiences goes down and value of
Purity (of thought, actions and speech) become extremely
important. The Sadhak/Seeker at some point realizes that his
desires are keeping him away from the God. He understands
that the true Sadhana/practice goes for 24 hours a day. The
pillars of 24 hours Sadhana are – Niyama (discipline), Yama
(self-restraint), Dama (control of senses), Pratyahara
(withdrawal of the senses), Prarthana (prayers), Sama
(restraint of mind) and Japa (repetition of God's name). You
will see God this very moment if you can stand right at the
top on the platform that is built upon these pillars.

Your bag (mind) is full of memories of past events. There is

no space for God in that bag, how can he be there? You must
empty your bag before God can appear there. Is it not?

The fact is our mind is weighted heavily by the Samskaras

(past Karma impressions on mind - Trigunas) of several lives.
Shadripus [six enemies or passions of mind: Kama (Lust),
Krodh (anger), Lobh (Greed), Moh (attachment), Ahankar
(Ego) and Matsarya (envy)] are ingrained in our mind. When
you attain the day where there are no Shadripus with you,
you will realize the God is with you. That day you will stop
your search for the God. Until then you must continue to
travel…towards Sattva (divine purity.)

If you really want to know your progress you should compare

your experiences with the highest experiences of sages that
are described in the Upanishads and find out whether they
exactly tally with them or not. Then only you have attained
God. Until then it is all travel, a painful travel. I agree I am
raising the bar too high, but that’s how it is, and I like to say
as it is.

Also, if you practice regular meditation and concentration

you are bound to get some psychic powers. You should not
use these powers for base and selfish purposes, for gaining
some material end or fame etc. If you do, you will face the
downfall.

Your final destination is far away. Please continue the

journey and keep eye on final goal: Self-Realization where
there are no desires left. God is always attained in 23.5 hours
before he comes in 30 minutes of meditation (in the form of
Samadhi or Darshan – visualization.) You have attained the
God the day you have NO desires left in you. It is all travel
and various experiences until then.

Best of luck in your Divine journey!

This information is only being given just so you do not get

scared and open your eyes suddenly before the session ends.
Mataji said that 4 guiding angels will surround you and stand
guard while you sit in meditation in yoga mudra. If you feel
disturbed in any way remain with your eyes closed,
remember the gurus and take a couple of deep breaths and
redirect your focus towards your Ajna chakra.

No one does meditation the right way or the perfect way right
from day one. All we can do is commit to get started and the
gurus will guide us the rest of the way.
