“Practice like you’ve never won. Perform like
you’ve never lost”. With this positive thought I
wish a warm and pleasant morning to everyone
present here. Myself Ritika Bohra and myself
Tanishka Sharma and we’re honored to be the
anchors of today’s event, which is the Inter house
beats with science dance competition.

WELCOME OF CHIEF GUESTS

It’s our privilege to have Dr. Saurabh khatri and
Dr. Aashu Rathore among us. I would request our
honorable principal sir to honor our chief guests
with the beautiful token of love.
Dr. Saurabh khatri is the H.O.D of IT department
in LIPS . He is qualified in MCA and PhD and has
an experience of more than 20 years.
Dr Aashu Rathore is the H.O.D of commerce and
management in LIPS. She is qualified in M.Com ,
MBA, M.Ed. and PhD and has an experience of
more than 25 years.
I express my gratitude to both our judges for
gracing us with their presence today, and adding
to our happiness. Welcome sir and ma’am.

LAMP LIGHTING AND SHLOKAS

Namaustute”
Maa Durga reminds us that we are never alone
for she is always with us. Her divine love fills our
hearts with joy and gratitude. Now we are going
to have Sanskrit shlokas as a tribute to Maa
Durga. So, I’d request all the dignitaries to come
for the lamp lighting.

PRINCIPAL SIR’S SPEECH

Now let’s proceed our function by inviting our
honorable principal sir Mr. Kuldeep Singh Rathore
on the stage to share his valuable words.
(Speech)
Thankyou sir, your words of wisdom have always
guided and motivated us.

STARTING OF THE EVENT

So, Ritika, as you mentioned earlier, we’re all
here today for the inter house beats with science
dance competition. Can you explain what beats
with science mean? I’m really curious about it.
 Sure Tanishka. Well, it means that the
participants have to combine the rhythm and
energy of music with the logic and creativity of
science. They have to show how science can
inspire their dance moves and how dance can
demonstrate scientific concepts.

Wow! That really sounds exciting. Now. Let me

tell our audience about both the rounds of
today’s event. This competition is divided into
two rounds. The first round is the performance
round in which our dancers will be giving us a
glimpse of the tradition of Gujarat with their eye
catching garba performances.

Wait! The theme of the dance performances is

garba? That’s really amazing! I love garba.

Well, if you’re really that much excited about the

theme , just share the information you’ve got in
garba with our audience.

Sure! Garba is a form of dance which originates

from the state of Gujarat. The name garba
derives from the Sanskrit word ‘Garbha’.
Traditionally, garba was performed around a big,
 Garbha deep, referring to life, just as a fetus in
mother’s womb. This dance form, worships the
divinity and power of goddess Durga or Amba
and it is performed for the 9 nights of the
Navratri festival.

I really didn’t expect you to have so much

information on garba. That’s really amazing. Well
thank-you Ritika for sharing this information with
everyone. So now as I was telling you about both
the rounds of today’s event , let me tell you
about the second round. In the second round, our
honorable judges will be asking some questions
to the participants from each house. Once they
have asked questions, we’ll be having the buzzer
question. The judges will ask one master
question to all the houses and the house which
will push the buzzer first will get the opportunity
to answer that question.

ROUND 1
So now, let’s begin with the first round. For this
round, the dancers of each house will be getting
3 minutes and 30 seconds to showcase their
performances.
So, I’d request our fellow mates Upasana and
Uday bhaiya to take the bowl of the chits to the
audience so that one of our audience can pick
 out the chits having the name of each house
from the bowl.

Incredible that was truly an amazing
performance.

But Ritika dance is something that comes from

heart. It is full of emotions. On the other hand,
science is something full of facts and logics. I’m
still confused about how both of these are
connected.

Let me clear this confusion of yours. Just like

everything around us has some logic, dance also
has some scientific reasons. Dance improves the
conditions of heart and lungs, and it also
improves mental functioning and general
psychological well being

Thank-you for clearing my confusion, Ritika. Now

I’d request our fellow mates to give the chance to
pick up the chits to one of our audience so that
they can announce the names of the house which
will be coming for the next performance.

Ritika, both the performances were really

amusing and breathtaking, who do you think will
get the first position.

Well surely these performances were really

amazing but to decide the winner we still have to
look at the other two performances.

Yes, you’re right. The competition is starting to

get really exciting.

Yes, so now, I’d again request Upasana and Uday

Bhaiya to go to one of the audience so that they
can pick out the chit and acknowledge us with
the house for the third performance.
It’s now time to invite the talented dancers of the

magical performance.

Ritika, do you know that fasting during Navratri

helps in boosting brain functions and curing
neurodegenerative disorders. It also enhances
heart health by improving blood pressure and
cholesterol levels.

This is really amazing. After hearing this I’m also

thinking about fasting for the coming 9 days.

Of course, you should, but for now, let’s give a

pause to our conversation as the clock is ticking
and there is still one performance left for this
round. I don’t think I’ve to take the name of this
house . Everyone would have guessed it by now
as we’ve already seen the performances of the
other 3 houses.

Let’s invite the dancers of___________ house for

an astonishing performance with a huge round of
applaud.

 ROUND 2
Now, we’ve come to the end of our first round.
So, let’s move on to the next round. In this round,
our judges will be given a bowl of chits having
the name of each house. They will pick up the
chit from the bowl and ask the question to the
respective house. Each house will be asked one
question. After the judges have asked the
question to each house, there will be a buzzer
round, a single question called the master
question will be asked to all the houses. The
house that pushes the buzzer first will get the
chance to answer that question.

First, I would request Aashu ma’am to pick out

the chit from the bowl
Now I would request Saurabh sir to ask the
question the __________ house

Now I again request Aashu ma’am to pick out the

chit and Saurabh sir to ask the question to the
respective house

For the third question I request Saurabh sir to

pick out the chit of the house.
Now, I request Aashu ma’am to ask a question to
the _______house

For the fourth question I would request Saurabh

sir to pick out the last chit and Aashu ma’am to
ask the question to that respective house.
(Now, for the last question, I would request Aashu
ma’am to ask the question to our last remaining
house which is the _________ house.)
Now, it’s time for the game changing question,
which is the master question. So, as we already
mentioned that this is a buzzer round, the house
pushing the buzzer will be getting the
opportunity to answer that question. I would
request both of our judges to ask the master
question to all the houses.
The _____________ house will be answering this
question as they pressed the buzzer first.

SPEECH BY JUDGES
It is now time to listen to the words of inspiration
from our respected judges who have been
watching and assessing the performances with
their expertise and experience. So please
welcome Dr. Aashu Rathore ma’am with a huge
 round of applause as they come on the stage to
address us.

DISTRIBUTION
Now, the moment we’ve been waiting for has
finally arrived. We’ve witnessed some incredible
dance performances by the participants who
have given their best to showcase their abilities
and creativity. But as they say, there can only be
one winner.

So, let’s find out who has won the hearts of the
judges and the audience with their outstanding
performances. I’d like to invite our respected
coordinator ma’am , Dr. Seema Sharma to
announce the results. I would also like to invite
our honorable principal sir and judges to come on
the stage and allocate the awards to the position
holders.

CONGRATULATING THE WINNERS

To all the achievers, congratulations! Your
perseverance and commitment have paid off.
May this moment be a stepping stone to even
greater accomplishments.
To those who may not have achieved their
desired results, remember, that success is not
defined by a single outcome. Embrace the
lessons learned and let them fuel your
determination to reach new heights.

It has been such an honor to be a part of this
wonderful event. Now, as we come to the end of
this event, I’d like to extend my heartfelt
gratitude to our esteemed chief guests who have
graced this event with their presence and came
here despite their busy schedule. Next, I would
like to thank our respected principal sir to whom
we owe tremendous thanks for always guiding
and supporting us. I would also like to thank our
coordinators, house masters and teachers who
have always been there to guide and support us.
 Last but not the least, I would like to thank my
fellow mates for being such a lovely and amazing
audience.
