IT Project Manager

The Manager will work under Executive Direction to provide leadership in the planning,
development and management of projects consistent with OLG strategic goals and business
objectives.

The Manager shall be responsible for the entire project lifecycle from planning to
implementation, including but not limited to, budgeting, resource allocation, progress
reporting and project risk assessment & mitigation.

The Manager will liaise with OLG business & technology staff, other agencies within the
District of Columbia, and external vendors.

Key responsibilities include:


• Accountability and ownership for the successful implementation of assigned
programs/projects working with key stakeholders to implement projects on time and within
budget.
• Plan, co-ordinate and lead meetings and regularly communicate project status and
updates to leadership, stakeholders and the team.
• Identify and communicate project risks, concerns & issues, and possible resolutions
• Work with key stakeholders to develop resource requirements and budget requirements to
develop project plans
• Ensure all project documentation is compliant with contract agreements and regulations
• Leads end to end implementation planning, including project management, issue
management communication and change management
• Drives project optimization by leveraging best practices and identifying opportunities for
process improvement, to improve performance and reduce cost

CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
1. Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple,
complex, and inter-related project tasks.
2. Manages teams of contract Support Personnel at multiple locations.
3. Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
4. Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and
deliverable items.
5. Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
