Participating in the program presents a unique and invaluable opportunity for both personal and

professional growth. As a research scholar, I am deeply motivated to delve into the rich
traditions of Indian knowledge and heritage, which are at the core of this programme. The
National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has prioritized the integration of Indian Knowledge
Systems (IKS) into the modern educational landscape, recognizing its potential to ignite pride in
our cultural roots and reshape our intellectual framework. I strongly believe that this training will
equip me with the tools to effectively incorporate these traditional systems into my academic
pursuits and teaching practices.

Incorporating the Bharatiya Jnana Parampara into modern research not only broadens our
understanding of indigenous scientific knowledge but also empowers us to approach
contemporary challenges with an ancient, time-tested perspective. The innovative methods and
curricular frameworks taught in this programme will enable me to reimagine research in a way
that reflects India’s intellectual traditions while fostering modern scientific thought.

Moreover, this training aligns with my personal academic goals of contributing to the
revitalization of Indian intellectual traditions in the global academic community. It will provide the
foundation for a research approach that harmonizes traditional knowledge with modern
methodologies, which is essential for creating a truly holistic educational environment.

Given the advantages this training offers, particularly in enhancing research outputs and
academic promotion, I am eager to actively engage in this programme. Through this, I hope to
contribute meaningfully to the broader objective of integrating Indian Knowledge Systems into
higher education, fulfilling the vision of the NEP 2020, and reviving the legacy of our ancient
traditions.
