After the completion of this course, students will be able to:

secondary market; spot and forward market; money market; capital market;
foreign exchange markets.
 Describe what information asymmetry mean and its role in the financial market
 Understand and describe the role and importance of different types financial
institution in financial system
 Explain the financial sector regulation concepts and regulating organs
 Understand the financial institutions and market in Zambian case

The course deals with the role and operation of financial markets in mobilizing or
raising finance for business organization.
