‘Cold Chain India Summit 2024’

Driving Innovation, Sustainability, and Efficiency in Cold Chain Infrastructure

Friday, 15 November 2024, Vrindavan Ground, Lucknow

DRAFT PROGRAMME
India's burgeoning population and rising disposable incomes have led to a surge in demand for perishable
goods, including food and pharmaceuticals. The cold chain industry plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe
and efficient transportation of these temperature-sensitive products. As the market expands, there is a
pressing need to explore innovative solutions and strategies to meet growing demands while maintaining
quality and compliance. Despite progress, the cold chain infrastructure in India still faces challenges related
to capacity, efficiency, and technology adoption. Recent advancements in refrigeration technology, IoT,
data analytics, and automation present opportunities for substantial improvements.

In this context, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising the Cold Chain India Summit
2024 conference with the theme ‘Driving Innovation, Sustainability, and Efficiency in Cold Chain
Infrastructure’ on Friday, 15th November 2024, at Vrindavan Ground, Lucknow. The conference aims to
drive collaboration and innovation in building an integrated, sustainable, and efficient cold chain ecosystem
for India's perishable goods industry. Discussions will focus on developing infrastructure that enhances
energy efficiency, reduces waste, and ensures the safety of temperature-sensitive goods. Participants will
explore the latest trends in cold chain technology, network with key stakeholders, and share best practices
to shape the future of cold chain logistics.
