TLE Roleplay Script
Scenario: A conference room. The Boss is standing at the front, preparing to address the six
employees seated around the table.
Boss: (Speaking confidently) Team, as we prepare to launch our new project, I want you all to
know that I have full confidence in each of you. This project is ambitious, but I believe in our
ability to succeed.
Employee 1: (Curious) What makes you so sure that we’ll succeed, given the challenges we’re
facing?
Boss: (Smiling) Because we’ve done the groundwork, and we’ve identified our strengths.
Confidence isn’t just about believing in the outcome—it’s about believing in our collective skills
and efforts. I’m confident because I trust in this team.
Scenario: The office, a few days later. The team is gathered around the boss’s desk, discussing
an unexpected issue that has arisen.
Employee 3: (Frustrated) We’ve just hit a major roadblock. The software isn’t integrating the
way we expected, and it’s delaying everything.
Boss: (Calmly) We’ve been in tough spots before, and we’ve always found a way through.
Persistence is key here. We’ll keep pushing, even if it means working longer hours or finding a
new approach. We don’t give up at the first sign of trouble.
Employee 5: (Determined) Pwede natin simulan sa pag troubleshoot ng integration issues agad
agad.
Boss: (Nodding) Exactly. Persistence is about staying committed, even when things get tough.
Let’s keep moving forward.
Scene 3: The Self-Reflection (Self awareness)
Scenario: The boss’s office. The Boss has called in two senior employees for a private
discussion.
Boss: (Thoughtfully) I’ve been reflecting on our progress, and I realize that I need to be more
self-aware in how I’m leading this project.
Boss: (Candidly) I’ve been trying to oversee every detail, and I’m realizing that it’s slowing us
down. I need to focus on the bigger picture and trust you both to handle the specifics.
Employee 1: (Supportively) We’re ready to take on more responsibility. You can count on us to
manage the details so you can focus on strategy.
Boss: (Smiling) That’s what I needed to hear. Self-awareness is about recognizing our own limits
and strengths. By delegating, I’m making sure we’re all working to our full potential.
Scene: A brainstorming session in a casual meeting room. The Boss and employees are seated
around a whiteboard, discussing new ideas.
Boss: (Encouragingly) Let’s think outside the box here. Gusto ko marinig ang mga ideas nyo, no
matter how unconventional they may seem. Curiosity drives innovation, and we need to explore
every possibility.
Employee 2: (Writing on the whiteboard) What if we use AI to automate some of the more
repetitive tasks? It could save us a lot of time.
Employee 3: (Adding) And what if we explore a new market segment that’s been underserved?
It could open up new opportunities for us.
Boss: (Excitedly) That’s the kind of thinking we need. Curiosity isn’t just about asking questions
—it’s about exploring new paths and finding creative solutions. Let’s dig deeper into these ideas.
Employee 4: (Nodding) Mag sisimula na akong mag research para sa AI tools na maaring
makatulong satin
Employee 5: (Excited) And I’ll gather data on that new market segment.
Boss: (Smiling) Great. This is how we stay ahead—by constantly being curious and willing to
explore new avenues.
Scenario: The office, a week after the project’s completion. The team is gathered for a debrief
on what went well and what didn’t.
Employee 6: (Reflecting) Overall, success naman yung project, but there were definitely some
bumps along the way.
Employee 3: (Sighing) Especially with that software integration issue. We lost a lot of time
there.
Boss: (Nodding) True, but we got through it. Comfort with failure is crucial. We didn’t let those
setbacks stop us—we learned from them and kept moving forward.
Employee 1: (Thoughtfully) We could have anticipated some of those issues better. Maybe we
should have tested more thoroughly before integration.
Employee 4: (Adding) But we also learned how to work under pressure and adapt quickly.
Boss: (Encouragingly) Exactly. Failure isn’t something to fear—it’s something to learn from.
The important thing is that we stayed resilient and found solutions. Let’s take these lessons and
apply them to our next project.
Employee 2: (Determined) Agreed. We’re stronger and smarter now, and we’ll be even better
prepared next time.
Boss: (Smiling) That’s the mindset that will lead us to even greater success. Let’s keep pushing
forward, learning, and growing as a team.
