Title: Welcome
Aids: a ball, flash card for prince and princess, and Audio CD.
Objectives: The students will be able to
name the characters of Our tropical island.
Structure 1: How are you?

Procedure:
Warming up: I will,
1_ Greet my students
2_ Do some active actions like singing the song
“Move Move” as a warming up.
Presentation: I will
1_ Open my book to page 4 and ask them about the picture. What can you see in
this picture??
Ex: a boy, a girl, a bird (ask about its kind), a princess shows them a picture of the
prince and princess and divides them into prince and princess, and an old man.
(Stress on the articles a, an)
2_ Ask them if they know any of the other items if they don’t have a problem, we
have them in the next lesson. I'll give them but not focus on them.
3_ Ask them where these characters are.
4_ Listen to their answers and encourage them to participate by raising them like
(Good job, you are amazing, you are the prince here, you are the princess, and I
love you all...)
5_ Name the characters and ask them to repeat many times
6_ Use the structure this is Joe
This is Lindy and ask them to repeat.
7_ Point to Lindy and ask them Who's this?
8_ Ask someone to stand in front of his friends
and point to (name) and say this is (name)
"First listening"
1_ Give them a hint about what they are goanna listen to
2_ I'll point to the names of the characters while they are listening.
3_ I' 'll pause the song every now and then and let them repeat.
4 _ Ask them to sing along too.
"Second listening"
1_ Tell them we goanna listen to the story of the princess Emily and the parrot
Pippen.

6_ Ask them to answer in Arabic on simple questions
7_ Play it again and ask them to focus

Listening 3:

1_ Tell them we will point to the characters and stand up whenever we hear the
names.
2_ Pause the chant and draw their attention to the structure "How are you?" I'm

Date: Monday, 4th, 9, 2023
Title: Part 2 Welcome
Aids: flash cards, and audio CD.
Objectives: The students will be able to revise colors, the action Vocabs, the items
related to the treasure chest, and the structure "What's your favorite color?"
My favorite color is...
Procedure:
Warming up
1_ Greeting my students
2_ Start doing some exercises from Move Move song to make them activate with
the lesson.
3_ Revise numbers while they are doing the actions like, jump three times, clap
your hands ten times, jump five times, etc...
"Presentation "
1_ Point to your T-shirt and ask them if it is a nice T-shirt. So what color is it??
Use another color to compare my color and that color.
2 _ ask them to find the same color around the room.
3_ Stick on the board some illustrations of green trees, yellow sun, red tomato,
and blue sky.
4_ Name the items and their color then ask them to repeat.
5_ Write the name of each color while they are answering.
6_ Tell them to repeat the colors to make sure they are pronouncing well.
7_ Focus on each one of them to find out the inactive student.
8_ Make him or her repeat alone.
Listening part:
1_ First, they will listen to the audio 4.
2_ They will point to the rainbow's colors.
3_ They will listen again and repeat the last two lines.
4_ At the end they will ask each other (What's your favorite color,)
Quest:
1_Let the students look at the main illustration.
2_ Name and repeat the items that have fallen out of the treasure chest.
3_ Draw the treasure chest on the board and ask them what things were inside.
4_ First ask them if they know the name of any one of them.
5_ Write their answers on the board.
6_ Ask them to name each item you point to.
7_ Play the song and let them mime the actions.

Moving to the book, I'll
1_ Explain the first exercise by pointing to the squiggly line and say Now we will
follow this line to link each boy with his father's occupation.
2_ Read the sentence with the letter as a clarification.
3_ Let them follow the squiggly line to catch the idea.
4_ Let them try alone with sentence number 2 and move between them to check
if they get the idea.
Listening part: I'll
1_ Play the song for the first time.
2_ point to the picture on the board when the occupation is mentioned.
3_ Repeat the audio and tell them now you will listen to circle the correct answer.
4_ I' 'll read the first three lines before I start.
5_ Apply the same way to the second and third part.
6_ After I finish, they will sing along too.
