III. PROCEDURE
Preliminary Activity

Greetings
Good morning class! Good morning Ma’am!

Prayer
Everybody please stand for our (students will do the prayer)
prayer. Angel please lead the prayer

A.Activity Have a game. Group the class into


three. Let each member in the group
take turn to spell the words with
vowel diagraph /ai/ and /ay/ on the
board. The group who got the most
correct spelling will be the winner.

rain play
sail stay
train away
fail may
brain say
pain tray
stain lay

Let the pupils read the spelled


words.
(The teacher may add other vowel
diagraph words with /ai/ and /ay/.
B.Establishing a purpose for the Let the pupils do what the teacher

1. They must be clear. It must be
planned carefully and written
clearly.
2. They must be complete. If
ever a small step is out, the
directions may not be useful.

order. Good directions follow a
logical, step-by-step order.
4. They must contain time-order
words.

To follow written directions:


1. Read the directions carefully.
2. Understand the direction.
3. Follow it.
E.Analysis GROUP ACTIVITY
The class will be divided into three
groups. Each group will be given
simple written directions that they
need to follow. The groups will be
given 3 minutes to prepare for their
presentation.

Group 1
-Arrange the members of your group
according to the month of their
birthdays. Then let your group sing
the “Happy Birthday” song.

Group 2
-Let your group form a big heart
using only the palms of every
member of the group. Then, as you
from the heart, shout “I LOVE YOU!”

Group 3
-Form a circle facing each other.
Then clap 3 times, stomp 3 times
and say “HOORAY!”

INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY
The teacher will post simple
directions on the board. The pupils
will do it on their paper.
1. Draw a box.
2. Write your name inside the
box.
3. Circle all the vowels in your
name.
