General Information:
Stress management refers to the techniques and strategies used to control an individual's level of
stress, especially chronic stress. It encompasses a wide range of tools that can help reduce
anxiety, improve emotional well-being, and enhance an individual's overall quality of life.
Effective stress management is essential for maintaining mental and physical health, and it is
particularly important in today's fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Purpose:
The purpose of stress management is to provide individuals with the skills and tools necessary to
cope with daily challenges and stressors. It aims to reduce the negative effects of stress on
mental and physical health, enabling individuals to maintain balance and improve their overall
productivity and well-being. By learning how to manage stress effectively, individuals can
enhance their focus, performance, and emotional resilience.
Activity Description:
In this activity, the sir led a session on stress management techniques, where students actively
participated. Sir introduced practical methods like mindfulness exercises, deep breathing, and
progressive muscle relaxation. Students practiced these techniques under the Sir’s guidance. Sir
also emphasized the importance of time management, maintaining a balanced lifestyle, and
seeking support from family and peers. Through guided role-play and discussions, the students
were encouraged to share their own experiences and apply the learned techniques to reduce stress
in academic and personal situations.
Outcome:
By practicing stress management techniques, I have achieved better control over my emotional
and physical responses to stressful situations. These techniques helped in improving my mental
clarity, reduce anxiety, and promote overall well-being. Effective stress management not only
enhances my ability to cope with life's challenges but also improve productivity ,emotional
balance and life satisfaction.
