- The top row of pixels of Clip type -> Image in Photo mode is now correct. - Clouds are now animated even if the "Cloud Control" slider is set to 0. - Typing in "Focal Length" values manually in Movie mode no longer switches to s aved camera views. - The "Threshold" slider in the "Lensflare" effect can be animated again. - The camera no longer gets stuck after selecting aligned objects. - It is now possible to add materials to an imported object in scenes with more than 4500 objects. - Sun Position Effect -> Sun Height -> Next Keyframe no longer switches the came ra view to the next clip. - Trees/plants and particle effects are now reflected in glass and reflective ma terials. - IMG sequence -> .TGAs are no longer saved as .JPGs - Shadows from animated people are now in sync again. - Fog is now rendered behind glass. Added or changed: - If you turn on Settings -> Show Frames per Second, uou can now see the positio n of objects that you are moving. - The "Shadow range" effect is now capped at 2.0 instead of 1.0.
Service pack 2, Build 7: ________________________ Bug fixes: - Cars are no longer too reflective. - SpeedTree billboards are now rendered correctly again. - It is now possible to highlight all surfaces in "Edit materials" mode without having to move the camera. - Shift + Move now works when animating objects. - The 3D view in Photo mode no longer overlaps saved camera presets. - Smooth edges -> Sub pixel amount now works as expected. Added or changed: - If you press F9, all trees and plants in the viewport will be rendered at thei r best level of detail, so that it's easier to see where you need to add more tr ees and plants in a scene. - You can now place objects a lot further away from the center of your scenes. - The grass that was included in Build 6 has been improved further. - The default values of the "Noise" effect were changed. - Reflection maps of some cars and construction vehicles have been improved. - The Alpine Dwelling example scene has been updated. - The position of the "Overbright" slider is now 5 pixels lower in some color pa lette menus. - "God rays" and "Motion blur" effects have been moved to the Scene effects tab.
Service pack 2, Build 6: ________________________ Bug fixes: - The end of a camera animation is now smoother than before.
- Ambient occlusion shadows (SSAO) have been improved quite a lot. - The "baking" process which optimises rendering performance for many identical objects is now a lot faster and uses far less memory. - Thumbnails of saved scenes are no longer squashed. - The pitch value of materials is no longer set to 1 by default. - The Depth Offset slider in the Color material no longer adjusts the Overbright slider at the same time - The end position of an animated object can now be set again without changing t he camera perspective. - Models no longer disappear when resizing the Lumion window. - A number of typos in the user interface were fixed. - Edit Materials -> "Escape" no longer causes the materials of one object to be inherited by the next object that is edited. - Shortcut key 3 no longer opens the Material Editor. - The object selection of aligned models no longer gets stuck. - The camera viewport no longer switches while typing in "0" in sliders. - Color Effects -> Fade in/out is now 100% black. - 2D silhouettes can now be scaled correctly. - Escape (Adv. Move) -> Move + SHIFT now works as expected. - Teleporting people/trees should no longer occur when using the "Animate object s" effect. - The exposure no longer spikes every time Lumion window is resized during movie renderings. Added or changed: - A new "Show Layer" effect with keyframes has been added, so that you can show the different stages of the construction of a building in a single clip. - Edge smoothing in movies has been dramatically improved thanks to a new "Smoot h edges" effect which will be replacing the old "MLAA" effect. This effect is id eal for rendering movies in 2-star mode if you haven't got time for the more cos tly x16 edge smoothing in 3-star mode. - The Tree Pack has been updated with a bunch of lovely new palm trees, corals, water lilys and grass objects which should make your scenes look more realistic than ever. - Imported objects in Documents/Lumion/Library can now be placed in manually cre ated folders. - Movie section - > Image clip: PNG/TGA/DDS files are now shown in the open file window. - The sun and cubemap are now updated while adjusting the sliders in the "Cloud settings" effect. - Fire particle effects are now brighter by default. - "Focal length" is now included as a Movie effect that can be keyframed.
Service pack 2, Build 5: ________________________ Build 5 was only released as a "Lumion Free" version and is essentially the same as Build 4 but with certain restrictions.
