The teacher will show the pictures below and the students will arrange it in
logical order.
4.2 Activity
The teacher will group the students into 4 and the teacher will ask the students
to write a summary of “Footnote to Youth” by Amador T. Daguio.
5 minutes (The students will be given 5-10 minutes to summarize the story)
4.3 Analysis After the summarization the teacher will ask the following questions:
1.Did you find the retelling of the story difficult? Why? Why not?
2.What strategies did you employ in order to retell the story?
3.Did you find these strategies helpful?

5.After knowing the prior knowledge of the students, the teacher will proceed

“The thirsty Crow”. The students will apply the 6 techniques each group
have assigned techniques.
