Duties include budget implementation, friend raising, fund-raising, recruitment, curriculum development, annual reports, hiring part-time faculty, community outreach, liaison between the department, administration and the college, and the implementation of assessment strategies. Board of Directors, Genesee Center for Arts and Education (2007 to January 2010) Rochester, New York Secretary for the Board. Duties include documentation and distribution of minutes to Board. Collection and distribution of area reports (Pottery, Bookmaking/ Printmaking, Photography) to Board. The College at Brockport: Teach Senior Seminar, Drawing I, Three-Dimensional Design and Ceramic courses when needed. Responsible for coordination of students in BFA Program: BFA Reviews, Thesis Reviews and Walk-through. Ohio Wesleyan University: Responsible for teaching Ceramics, Drawing, Figure Drawing and Three-Dimensional Design. Additional courses taught: Gallery Management. Designed the Ceramics curriculum Taught all levels of beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of ceramics Built wood, soda and car kiln with students Worked with several BFA and Honors students in mentoring Thesis Projects University of Wyoming: Designed the Ceramics curriculum Taught all levels of beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of ceramics Built two wood kilns and one soda with students and visiting artists Worked with several BFA and Honors students in mentoring Thesis Projects Taught Drawing and Life Drawing Worked with Graduates in overall Art Department: Chaired 1 MFA Thesis Committee and participated on 5 MFA Thesis Committees

ADVISING AND SUPERVISION:


The College at Brockport: Advising responsibilities consist of 28 undergraduate students. Overall supervision of advisement for the Department. Ohio Wesleyan University: Advising responsibilities consisted of 23 undergraduate students (22 Fine Arts majors and 1 undeclared). Additionally, I supervised work-study students in the ceramics area (approximately one per semester).

University of Wyoming: Advising responsibilities consisted of 20 undergraduate majors and minors in the Art Department each semester. 1994 95 had supervision over 3-4 graduate students in the ceramics area. Supervised work-study and paid work students in the ceramics area (approximately one or two per semester).

ADDITIONAL SUPERVISION:
The College at Brockport: Worked with the Student Art Board. Comprised of a group of 8 highly motivated, dedicated art students who met on a regular basis to examine ways to improve student learning and success in the Department. (2006 through 2008) Ohio Wesleyan University: Advisor for the Wesleyan Art Guild. Students started the guild in the fall 2002- this consisted of approximately 20 members. (Both art majors and non-art majors) Assisted students with: organize and run the Werner Student Gallery, organize yearly holiday fund raising sale, organize monthly trips to exhibitions and galleries around the region and nation, organize various community-involved events. Traveled with students to NCECA conference each year. A total of six students. Worked with NCECA Directors-at-Large to find volunteer positions for students at the annual conferences. Assisted student in applying for summer residencies at Penland School of Crafts and Anderson Ranch. University of Wyoming: Helped students organize, advertise and set up their BFA exhibitions. Coordinated responsibilities for work-study and paid students. Organized and coordinated students in the annual Pot-a-Thons and Silent Auction held each year, organized and coordinated students with their bowl and mug sales held each year. Traveled with students to NCECA conference each year. A total of six to eight students. Helped graduating students with slides and applications for graduate programs. Worked with NCECA Directors-at-Large to find volunteer positions for students at the annual conferences.. INTERDISCIPLINARY PROJECTS:
Ohio Wesleyan University: 2006 Spirit Undefined. Collaborative project between Fine Arts Department, Religion Department and the Juvenile Court of Delaware, Ohio. Served as a mentor for a senior project- collaborative effort to create a spiritual based installation and re-design the Peale Chapel. 2004 The Unreconciled: Lynching in 20th Century America. Collaborative project between the Fine Arts Department and Black World Studies. This consisted of an exhibition of paintings by two BFA students, keynote speaker, two films and a panel discussion on the topic of lynching. 2003 Consuming Passion: Edible by Design. This exhibition was held in conjunction with Ohio Wesleyan Universitys Sagan National Colloquium. A yearly interdisciplinary program whose 2003 theme of food was entitled Consuming Passion: the Culture, History, Science and Politics of Food. Books That Change Lives, course taught by Associate Professor David Caplan, English Department. Was invited into David Caplans class to show slides and give talk about a book that

influenced my work. Exhibited books created by my students from the drawing courses. University of Wyoming: 2001 Framing Taste. Interdisciplinary project and exhibition held in the Centennial Complex University of Wyoming Art Museum. A weeklong celebration of food and art. Project included panel discussions, workshops, and public lectures. The event was closed with an evening of food and arts. 1998 University of Wyoming Music Camp. Worked with students at music camp creating clay pieces to various musical works.
