- Write this section last!
Make it 2 pages or less.
Explain the fundamentals of the proposed business: what will
your product be, who will be your customers, who are the owners, what
do you think the future holds for your business and your industry?
Make it enthusiastic, professional, complete and concise.
If applying for a loan, state clearly how much you want, precisely
how you are going to use it, and how the money will make your
business more profitable, thereby ensuring repayment.

Economic Environment
-discuss the economic conditions of the place and how it will possibly
bring opportunities to your planned business. Present economic
graphs, statistics or details that will support your claim on the
economic status of the place where you are planning to put your
business. You can also discuss the economic developments of the area
by accessing reports from DTI or NEDA or at the municipality of your
business locale.
Technology Environment
- Discuss what methods, techniques and approaches adopted for
production of goods and services and the distribution of your products.
Identify technologies or technological developments that was released
that could bring opportunities to the full operation of your business and
optimize its full potential.
Socio-cultural Environment
- Discuss the customs, traditions, values, beliefs, poverty, literacy, life
expectancy rate etc. of the community where you are planning to put
up your business. The social structure and the values that a society
cherishes have a considerable influence on the functioning of business
firms. For example, during festive seasons there is an increase in the
demand for new clothes, sweets, fruits, flower, etc. Explain how you
can make access of the opportunities by the said socio-cultural
practices of the community.
Political/Legal Environment
- Discuss political system, the government policies and attitude
towards the business community you are studying. Identify some laws,
regulations, which influence the business organizations and its
operations. Discuss how can you get opportunities or how will you cope
from these laws and regulations.
Natural Environment
-. Discuss the natural resources, weather and climatic condition,
location aspect, topographical factors, etc. that occurs in your
community. Explain how these environments factors can greatly
influence your planned business. What opportunities or threats these
environments can it bring to your business?
Competition Status
-Discuss the competition status of the businesses existing in your
chosen area. Identify the type of competition prevailing in the industry
of your planned business. Ex. Pure competition, oligopoly, etc. Discuss
how can you successfully join and survive the competitive
environment.
Section V: Product/Service Plan
Product Research and Development
-Conduct a detailed experimentation of your proposed products. Make
sure that you document (with pictures) the entire process of your
experimentation, until you can come up with your prototype product.
Discuss in details the process and methodology of your
experimentation.
Product Acceptability Test
-Conduct a free taste survey or a free product demo to your prospect
customers. Document the survey and make a detailed report on the
survey results of your product acceptability test. Include your
questionnaires and the tally of comments and results of your survey.
Incorporate the suggestions of your respondents in making your final
product.

-Describe your final product. Present a detail picture and design of your
