Displacement vs Distance

Mass: The quantity of matter in an object (50 kg).

Temperature: A measure of thermal energy (30°C).
Speed: How fast something is moving, but without direction (60 km/h).
Time: Duration of an event (5 seconds).
Distance: Total length traveled by an object (100 meters).

S
Conclusion

In summary, the main difference between scalar and vector magnitudes is

that scalars only focus on the amount, while vectors also include direction. This
makes displacement more specific in showing how much and in which
direction something has moved. For now the concepts that we have seen in
physics class give us a theory explanation, while in lab work we can uderstand
the new concepts by practicing .
