This document provides instructions for jailbreaking iOS devices running 4.3.4 using Redsn0w 0.9.8B4. The jailbreak process requires loading the 4.3.4 firmware in Redsn0w, selecting "Install Cydia", putting the device into DFU mode, and waiting 5 minutes for the jailbreak to complete. After the device reboots, Cydia will crash and the user must re-enter DFU mode in Redsn0w and select "Just boot tethered now" to fix this. The user will need to repeat this step whenever the device reboots until an untethered jailbreak is available.

On the very same day Apple released iOS 4.3.

5 to fix a very minor security there is already a Jailbreak solution available albeit not for all devices. This jailbreak works on the iPhone 4, 3Gs, iPod touch 4th & 3rd Gens and the iPad 1. The iPad 2 Untethered Jailbreak on 4.3.4 is a long time away. Also the iPhone 4 CDMA Verizon iPhone on 4.2.10 or 4.2.9 Does not yet have a jailbreak Be warned, this Jailbreak is TETHERED meaning you will need a computer to reboot your iDevice if the power is drained or you reboot it. Ok so read below to get started!

Redsn0w 0.9.8B4 Windows HERE: Windows Redsn0w 0.9.8B4 Redsn0w 0.9.8B4 MAC HERE: Mac Redsn0w 0.9.8B4 4.3.4 Firmware HERE: iPhone 4 GSM 4.3.4 iPhone 3Gs 4.3.4 iPad 1st Gen 4.3.4 iPod Touch 4G 4.3.4 iPod Touch 3G 4.3.4 Step 1. Open Redsn0w, Load the 4.3.4 Firmware, Select Install Cydia and power off your iPhone. Click next, then Enter DFU mode using the instructions. The Jailbreak will begin so sit tight for 5 minutes. Step 2. Step 3. Now once your iPhone/iPod/iPad finishes your iDevice will reboot and your Cydia will crash when opened. What we will need to do to fix this is to open Redsn0w and select the 4.3.4 Firmware, then select the option Just boot tethered now. Again enter DFU mode and this process will take much less time than the jailbreak. A pineapple will appear on the screen and this means the tethered boot is working. Just to let you know, You will have to follow Step 2 whenever your battery dies or you power off your device to get your iDevice to boot properly. Step 3. Once complete You are done!
