Types of Sentence

There are five type of Sentence

1. Assertive Sentence
2. Interrogative Sentence
3. Imperative Sentence
4. Exclamatory Sentence
5. Optative Sentence
Types of Sentence

1. Assertive Sentence - जो वाक्य हााँ या 'न कहे । (स्वीकारात्‍मक वाक्‍य)


e.g. I like tea. (Affirmative Sentence)
I don't like coffee. (Negative Sentence)

नवाचक वाक्‍य) जो वाक्‍य प्रश्‍


2. Interrogative Sentence (प्रश्‍ न पछ

e.g. Do you love tea?

3. Imperative Sentence (आदे शात्‍
मक वाक्‍य) – जो वाक्‍य Request, Advice,
order, warning, आदद दशााते हैं।
e.g. Please help me. Learn English to get a job.
Bring tea at once. Beware of the dogs.

4. Exclamatory Sentence (ववस्मयादद बोधक वाक्य) जो वाक्‍य मन से


अचानक ननकलते हैं।
e.g. Hurrah! India has the won.
Wow! It is a magnificent building.

5. Optative Sentence [इच्‍छा सूचक] जो वाक्‍य Wish, Pray Curse का बोध


कराए।
