Building Your Website with AI

Follow this checklist to get your website ready. Don’t miss any steps and don’t overthink this. As
long as you follow these checklist steps, your website zero complications.

1. Hosting Setup

● Purchase a domain name (if you don't already have one)


● Sign up for WPX hosting (Business Plan Is Perfect)
● Point your domain's nameservers to WPX (follow WPX's instructions & Domain
Forwarding)

2. WPX Account Setup & WordPress Install


● Log in to your WPX account
● Use WPX's one-click WordPress installer
● Note down the admin username and password provided
3. Initial WordPress Configuration
● Log in to your WordPress admin panel (usually yourdomain.com/wp-admin)
● Get familiar with WordPress
● Go to Settings > General and update site title, tagline, and HTTPs
● Set up your main menu (Appearance > Menus)
● Set your timezone and date format
● Go to Settings > Permalinks and choose your preferred URL structure (remove “/”)
● Discussion: Uncheck "Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and
trackbacks) on new posts"

4. Theme Selection and Setup
● Go to Appearance > Themes
● Browse and install Kadence

● Image Compressor: Imagify or ShortPixel
● Activate all installed plugins
