Subject: Report on the Incomplete Question Paper for the Final Exam of Statistics
(BBA-410), BS BBA Examination Spring-2024.
Respected Sir,

In response to the handwritten directions of the deputy controller (DC) vide letter No.1881
cond D.C. of the Conduct Branch dated 08-10-2024 Punjab University,Lahore, I, the
undersigned, serving as the Superintendent of the Examination Centre, hereby submit the
following report/statement for your kind perusal regarding the issue raised by the students of
BS BBA Semester-VIII at FG Sir Syed College, Rawalpindi, during the final examination of
Statistics (BBA-410) conducted in Spring-2024

Respected Sir,
On the day of the examination, that is, on September the 24th, 2024, several students from
BS BBA Semester-VIII submitted a handwritten application reporting that the question paper
for the Statistics (BBA-410) exam was incomplete which is true as per my words. This issue
caused confusion and serious concerns among the students and hindered their ability to
attempt the full paper within the stipulated time. Students also complained that the critical
questions necessary to solve certain problems were missing from the question paper and by
the time they were given the missing part of the paper after my successive telephonic
attempts, much of their time, almost an hour or more, was consumed. As a result, students
were unable to complete the exam as expected.
In light of this situation, the students have formally requested that grace marks be awarded
to compensate for the incomplete question paper, as they were disadvantaged during the
examination.
For your kind reference, I am attaching the already sent copy of the application submitted by
the students, along with the relevant information.
In conclusion, I request your esteemed office to review the matter and take appropriate
action.
